My friend sent me a package through DHL and I tracked it down to know when the package will arrive. Luckily, DHL called me today and informed me that they are going to deliver the package today. They also told me that I have to pay around $15 for the fee. I am really pissed! I thought that the "clearance processing" means you wont pay anything anymore but it actually meant the opposite thing and its actually fee for customs. Now I feel like I dont want to take the package. I think what's inside the package is even cheaper than what I am going to pay as fee. Dont you think that these customs people are too much? I really hate it even by just thinking about it.

Maybe you get the whole scenario wrong. It could be that the $15 is for the fee for delivery. Have you asked your friend if she has paid for the delivery fee already? Sending package thru DHL is really costly. But they do deliver packages, on time.

When you send something using a courier, delivery fee is already paid by the one sending you something. Its a general rule. The clearance processing I guess has something to do with customs service. That's what the guy from DHL told me when I got the package yesterday.
