Why are there some people who were so confident that it can lift the burden of her own life without wanting to be helped by others ... yet, she has a friend who will be happy to help lift the burden together. always with a reason not to make her friend to feel the brunt of it ... What is selfish? people like that? or really because she did not want to bother someone else?

You should be thankful for a friend like her. She's very private and independent and does not want to bother others. Just respect her as she is and I think she can't handle her problems, she'll turn to friends like you for help. Just give her her privacy and independence.
