How Tagaytay has changed

I remember when I was a kid, we used to go to Tagaytay almost every weekend to enjoy the view of Taal, the cold breeze and just the serenity of the place. And whenever we go there, it was always like the first time. The awe of being there and the experience as a whole. But that was a long time ago. Almost 2 decades to be exact. Now, going to Tagaytay is just a normal happening. We go there at midnight or during the wee hours of the morning just to eat dimsum at this 24 hour restaurant. We go there with no regard and no plan. And after that, the feeling is not the same. Tagaytay before is soooooooooooo different from Tagaytay now. The place has been developed and over commercialized. Well in a way that's good. It indicates progress. And it attracts many people. Especially the foreigners. But the overall experience is not the same as it was. The crowd, the place, the ambience, everything. But I know it's the same everywhere. Time has changed. A lot. So maybe I shouldn't wonder why. I just miss the place and how things were before in Tagaytay.
