what a conversation skills i have

I went to class reunion about a week ago. Meeting old friends whom I did not see for almost 10 years ( not a even getting in touch with them in any sort of communication) dreaded me. I just feel awkward talking to them. I was surprised by how things have changed on them. The one who is so quite and so shy has now become the most talkative person in the group. I was the one who was just an observer before and somehow managed to come out in a shell but not this time. Though I answered their questions but I never get to talk to them the way I did before.
How about you guys? Does you alienate yourself in meeting old acquaintances?

...well, yeah, especially if they usually get together and you haven't been in touch with any of them, you get left out of the conversation and sometimes you just enjoy listening more than talking about your own experiences which they might not be able to relate...
