After seeing for almost 50 times since its release, i always wonder whether chris nolan is ever going to come up with a sequel to the movie.. becuase no one is sure whther it ended in a dream or a reality. Nolan has ended the movie in such a way that a perfect platform for a sequel can be set from there.. i wonder what must be going on in his mind.

I doubt it will ever have a sequel. Sure, the ending was a really nice one, but I doubt it can sprout anything - Cobb said he was gonna end his job after immigrating into America. Besides, what kind of plot would the sequel have? It almost feels like a perfect ending, you know, everything is solved and the storm's passed and Cobb gets to go back to his kids...

Nolan's not like that. He's one of the few people in Hollywood who still rely on quality rather than quantity. He said something along the lines of "l thought of inception as a single movie and l made it a single movie" it's highly doubtful that he'll make a sequel. it may not be as good as the first one anyway

Not everything would be better if they have a sequel. Me too had watched this movie over many times, and i still enjoy it! Sometimes you have to just let the ending be that way, it is better and triggers viewer's thought, which is what i love on Christopher Nolan's movies. But if i really have to predict, i 110% sure that there won't be any sequel for this movie in the future. Happy MyLotting!

Inception ended in such a way that viewers can interpret it openly. They have the liberty to end the movie however they like. Whether it be that di Caprio's character was still inside a certain dream level or he's back to the real world. It's hard to interpret the last few scenes. I would like to think that he got back to reality. And that he's with his children in the real world. But then it's too perfect of an ending. But I don't want him to be in the dream world. Because all is lost if that's the case. His love for his children must surpass his love for his wife. I don't want a sequel to Inception but of course, it's not my decision to make. Lol. I just think making a sequel will kill the mystery that the movie instilled in all of us. It's annoying not to know what the ACTUAL meaning of the ending was, but the fun lies in not fully understanding it as well. Christopher Nolan was a genius when he made this movie. Pure genius.
