Reviewstream.com --- Good site or Scam site???

In one of my other questions, a commenter suggested Reviewstream.com as a place to write reviews on just about anything to make some extra money online. I did a quick search online to see this site's reputation and unfortunately, most of the review I saw were negative, pointing out that the writer's reviews were always rejected or that they only ever receive the bulk payment. Is anybody and active user of Reviewstream.com, and if so, are you making money and actually being paid for your work?

I certainly have been enjoying writing reviews at the "Review Stream" site. This is certainly a legit site, and they pay regularly. Yes, of course, some submissions do get rejected when they do not meet the requirements. I see that as usual and normal procedure. I have been paid a number of times, and have been suggesting the site to my friends who wish to make some earning based on their writing interests.

About how long does it take to reach the $50 minimum payout? How many reviews are you writing and are they paying you top dollar or bulk rate? Also, do you know of any other sites that are similar. Helium is one, but I don't think a Canadian such as myself can reap the rewards of article writing for them. I've sent them an email asking, but I don't have high hopes about it.

I had once tried reviewstream, wrote a review on an item i have and submitted. However, no matter how i change the content, they won't receive it, and the way they reject are just so mean. I think they stated my review as worthless - without any human analyzing, and they won't earn a bucks. I left the site ever since...
So, i'm not sure what kind of language they required, or what type of grammar. They seems to be very strict on this, and that is what most users are complaining.
Try write a review, and see if yours is approved and paid? No harm done.

Well...I just wrote my first review and submitted it for approval and review. I'll have to try and find some time today to sit down and write a couple more, increasing my chances of making some extra money. It's pretty quick to write a review, maybe 10 minutes or less if you know about what you're writing and don't need to do any type of research. I guess time will tell.

I've been on the site for along time. I dont really have many things that I can review and write a longer review on so I dont do many reviews. They used to pay me the bulk rate of $2.50 all the time but anymore no matter how much I write or how well I write it I havent made over 50 cents per article I write. I just submitted a review of the birth control pill that I was previously taking. Before that the last time I submitted a review to that site was back in August lol. I just want to get to the $50 to get my payment and then I probably wont bother with that site anymore and possible just start doing reviews on associated content once in awhile.

Good luck reaching the $50. All you have to do after that is pray that they actually pay and don't find a way to stiff you. I think I'm done with that site even though my account reads $1. lol

Review Stream does pay, but they're really picky on what reviews they accept and I've been rewriting a lot of mine lately because they've been getting rejected.

I've submitted my first review 3 days ago, but since they don't review over the weekend, I'll probably have to wait until next week to find out if it's rejected or not. Thought that I would dip my toe in and see if the water's warm with this site. I've also started to write an article for factoidz.com Should be fun seeing what type of writing skills I can muster up.

thank you for starting this discussion. I've read all comments and that made it easy for me to decide: I will NOT join Reviewstream. Good luck to you Shaggin, I hope you'll reach the 50 bucks soon to be able to get a least some reward for the effort you put into it.

No problem. Personally, I would rather work at Factoidz, but the articles need to be detailed and well written. If you're into music, you can always rate/review at slicethepie.com. I made a pretty quick $10 there. After a while, you earn good money for each review (up to 20 cents per review), so the money adds up quickly. The only downside to that site is, there isn't any referral program with them, so it's all on your own to make the dough.

I was an active review stream user last year but I'm less active now. I actually got paid by review stream before. Review stream does reject reviews but I think you can get your reviews paid at USD 2.50 if it is a good review. I got my reviews rejected 2 times and 22 reviews paid at full rate, and 11 reviews at bulk rate. With this kind of acceptance, it is not a problem for me to write reviews for this site. Most importantly, it pays quickly once you reach your minimum payout. So I think this site is a legitimate website.
