What If Anything, Would Cause You To Leave Mylot?

At one time or another we've all had various complaints about things that tend to happen here at Mylot.Most of the time,our complaints center around other members who may be abusing the site,(trolls, spammers,rude comments,unwarranted negative ratings, etc..) Although we all encounter things like this,it seems on a daily basis, have you, or would you consider leaving here due to problems such as these? i would have to say, although things like this can be very frustratng and make me qute angry at times, i've never thought about leaving Mylot, since all that's good about it (making friends, interacting with other members, learning a lot about certain subjects etc..) override any feelings i may have about leaving.so i'd like to know, do you feel the same,? or do you ever feel it's getting to the point where it's just not worth your time and effort to stay.

I wouldnt leave mylot as I believe it is the best site for chat and discussions aswell as advice and making friends and you can earn for it to what more could you ask for?

I am not going to leave mylot, unless i am going to get too busy with real life. I would then be missing this place so much. Well, like in real life, everyone here is the same. You get to see a lot of people whom you would like to talk to and some you don't want to entertain. Just goes on, have to adjust a little and this place is all too good.

We all have lives outside of Mylot. No one spends 24 hrs a day here, but many of us do spend a good amount of our time here and if you use this site for what it was intended for.(meeting new people, interacting through discussions and being respectful to others) it's well worth the time and effort to stay as member. and yes, it does take some adjustments, but in "real life" we need to adjust to things almost on a daily basis.

nothing so far for me... fortunately, i have been here for more than 6 years now and i haven't find any single reason to leave this site yet until now... i hope i won't have to do that ever... this is a great site and i love this site so much... of course nothing is perfect in this world and we just have to tolerate if there is some imperfections on this site as well... but that will not make me leave this site... take care and have a nice day...

Wow!you've certainly been here a long time and it's good to know that after all this time you still find it worthwhile being here.and i certainly agree, there is no such thing as a perfection whether it be here or anywhere in life and tolerance is really the key to understanding and making it through.Take care and have a nice day as well.

Thanks for my first real laugh of the day. Can't really add much more to that, except to say, this was totally unexpected, but so refreshing.

I would leave myLOT if you, others and my friends would never exist here in this site then I thinks that's the time I should leave MyLOT.

I don't let things like trolls affect me at all much more make me leave the site,maybe their the ones who are suppose to leave the site, as long as I know I am doing right by sticking to the guide lines, being able to contribute in my own little way. being with my friends and people I like here, and getting paid, that's no real issue to me.

I also think "trolls"and anyone who feels the need to be rude and abusive should leave Mylot, since they tend to make it bad for those of us who use this site for what it was intended for.but,as you mentioned doing the right thing by obeying the guidelines and contributing what we can to this discussion site is all that really matters.And yes, making friends and earning a little money is a great bonus as well.

Leaving mylot has not crossed my mind yet even though I was constantly abused by the so called trolls in the past. I will remain loyal to mylot unless admin decide to terminate my membership in mylot. I like this site, the first social site that I joined online.

it's good to know that even though you've encountered a fair amount of abuse here, (which i think is inexcusable)it hasn't gotten you the point of wanting to end your membership and still enjoy the good things about this site. Sometimes we have to put our emotions aside when dealing with certain people and understand they can only hurt us if we allow them to.

I do feel frustrated when i got my rating number decreased or when one of my post is deleted. Because i think i have never said something wrong.
I like this site because as most other mylotters said, it is a very good forum to make friends, exchange each other's ideas, learn from others. And of course also a way to improve one's english.
I have left here for a long time, because too busy on something. Now i am back,though i can not earn much, but i take it as a bonus. And i will contiune to stay here to enjoy mylotting.

Those things can be very frustrating since we have no control over them.One is decided my the admin(deleted discussions) and the other by members here (star rating).I just wish some people would start using their good sense before responding to discussions.and use the rating system for what it was meant for.but, since most of the members here use this site for the right purposes , it's more than worth remaining a member.And i do agree earning a little money as well is a "bonus"

If it gets stupid boring or full of spam and honestly if they don't pay. I've left the site for months a few times cuz I got bored.

There are times when i do get bored here, especially when i can't seem to find many discussions that spark my interest but,it doesn't discourage me enough to leave the site. The "spammers", "trolls" and one line questions do tend to annoy and irritate me quite a bit,but again,it hasn't gotten to the point wherei'm so affected by this, i want to give up, since no matter wheteher it's Mylot, or any discussion or social network website, there will always be people like this, looking to spoil it for everyone else.

Nope, none of those are reasons to quit on a program that works together with owners/members together. This program has created away to earn as well as learn from each other from all over the world. Why would anyone want to leave such a place?
If something happened to the site itself I would still have patience to see if they were able to fix the problems. It is worth it. This site has proven itself with the way we all work as a team. With any team there are members who just can't seem to see it that way.. that if we work together, we can succeed together.

I have witnessed members being constantly trolled to the point where they left as they felt unappreciated. I have been slightly tainted but then think about my objective here and it refrains me from leaving.
I feel very confident that I have assisted in many areas that it would be a shame if I could not continue to contribute. I have encountered several members that personally I would miss.

You and other veterans of Mylot are one of the reasons i enjoy being here. day by day i notice how helpful and gracious you are to other members, especially the newbies.personally, i have no reason to complain, since in the short time i've been here,i've been treated quite well here with the exception of a few rude responses,but, that's to be expected on a discussion site as large as Mylot, where you can expect all kinds of opinions.As i mantioned there are things that go on around here that irritate and frustrate me, but,so far not enough to make me want to leave.
