Are movies linked to the walls of our facebook, protected by viruses?

Can we get viruses when we click a linked file to see the movies shared to our wall? Is FB protected by an anti-virus system?

I dont think so but still im not a great facebook fan but if a movie is shared it doesnt mean download right? So if it doesnt go to your computer it cant affect it as well but still do not be totally sure with what i said because i have only some days of experience with facebook its not my kind of website but i hope i was helpfull anyway :) Thanks for reading

Hi wadabski, Well i dont think its really harmful, so far i know. There is no such anti virus, but it will not harm when you share. Enjoy mylotting Cheers!

no, unless the landing website has some kind of suspicious or malicious script that automatically and secretly downloads to your computer. Other than that, I see no harm.

I haven't seen any movie link on facebook. I only see video links. But if there is movie links there i think facebook could not secure every files that their users were sharing.
