A lot of people are getting busy nowadays, they just want to do many things in a short time or accomplish something before the deadline. I am a person who wants to finish things before the deadline because I don't want to rush things, but I don't want to miss out on having fun too. So what I do is I multi-task. I do things at the same time and give focus to both at the same time. How could this be possible? I don't know actually but it has become a habit of mine. Right now I am multi-tasking by giving a lecture and writing in mylot because an idea just suddenly entered my mind and I don't want to lose that.

You can rest assure that you are not alone. The number of hours we have per day has never changed, however, our workload seems to be on the steady rise. In order to finish what we have on hand by the end of the day, we have no choice but to multitask. Sadly, nowadays we no longer have the luxury to do one thing at a time.

Well toni, At first i appreciate your thoughts. As everything is determined and have short life span in our hand... so proper utilization is essential. Me too... i am all day multi - worker. Reading, writing, thinking.....eating drinking. What ever it is a combination is must. Have a nice day.

you are soo active huh!! it's hard for me to do multi-task at the same time. I prefer to finish something before proceeding to the others. Because of this weakness, i have to do things that most important first followed by the less important. And it's satisfy me then..but still i want to practice being a multi-tasker person sooner or later..

I guess multi-tasking is considered as a skill because not every person could actually do it having it focus on more than one task. But for busy people like me, I think this skill can be developed naturally when you feel the need to tasks in a very short time and meet deadlines. They say that people who uses 3 computers simultaneously are geeks but I don't what they would call for using 7 computers at the same time here in our office as system administrator. And here I am responding in myLot from one of those 7 computers. -)

Hello. You are doing very well. Yes, multi-tasking is becoming very popular these days. And, many jobs require undertaking and managing different activities at the same time. This does need good experience, of course, but one gets used to them after a while. Best wishes to you !

Hi,Toni I am a mother of four, though, I only have my two kids with me right now..I stay home and do everything for these two kids as well as for my hubby who also stays at home to work. With him being home most of the time makes me busier than he is out of town because i need to take care of his needs which is more complicated than his children's needs. So, while doing the cooking I also do the cleaning of the house, or dishwashing or laundrying while taking care of my kids..Sometimes, if my 10 month old baby becomes too demanding I am cuddling him while cooking or sweeping the floor or preparing the table. However, despite of my busy routine,I can still manage to do Mylotting during the day by mutli tasking. I am rocking my baby to sleep while I am typing words 'singlehandedly'.

Hi Toni, True that multi-tasking has become more common these days due to the need to win the race - there is so much to be done and accomplished and unfortunately neither the hours of the day nor the life span increases.... But hey, how come you are mylotting during the delivery of the lecture? That is being unfair to your profession of being a Trainer/Teacher and I believe you are setting a wrong example to the students Cheers, theSids.

hi, i should be to earn more cents here, so multi-task is better than focusing only at one site.
