Hey Guys
I play league of legends frequentely and it's a great game, but I sometimes wonder about the matchmaking system. I am level 13 right now, and I would always get paired up with level 30s that are more experienced and have better runes than I do. Is this a riot glitch, or is there something I can do to avoid being in queue with lv 30s? I have lost many games because the players on my team are low level and the enemy team is full of level 30s.

I doubt it's a glitch, very rarely do low levels participate in Matchmaking due to it being a more 'high level' thing.

this will happen when a high level groups up to queue with a low level, it will average their level for matchmaking purposes- i.e if a level 30 queued with a level 10 friend in his group then matchmaking will look for people of level 18-22 to pair them up with, etc. try to group up with friends near your level so you have a lower chance of running into these types of groups.

The matchmaking is the biggest flaw with the game. If there are any duo-queuers in your game you will play against higher levels so I suggest just playing solo queue. It is just unlucky that you will get a higher level in your game forcing you to play against other higher levels. This is especially bad in ranked games where you would be forced to play higher ranked players.

Yea I know what u mean. That happens to me all the time. However, u can buy ur own runes, even though they have better runes and exp then u that doesn't mean that its a straight lost, u just have to play better then the opponents. Like when I was lv 15, My teemo was still doing his job well at mid even though I didn't have the runes that these lv 30s have. Not all lv 30s are good. You can own these noobs dude I support U!
