i have seen previous cycles of America's next top model and i have witnessed different types of models. some are good at the runway, some have great personality yet display flat in front of the camera, a few were stunning in pictures but don't have great personality while others are fair in everything. For you?what makes a top model?

In today's standards, a top model is someone whose physique is tall and thin (to the point if emaciation).

I am a fashion designer and from my point of view as a designer, I think its not just the looks or body that matters. It would be great to have a look that is versatile and a body that is tall, slim and slender, but however, the personality do matters as well.

For me, the show has very little to do with actual modeling career (I think Australia's Next Top Model is much more realistic when it comes to their winners - Tyra wants a good show, other programs look for good models who can make it). For me a top model is tall and thin (yes, it's unfair, but that's the reality of the fashion industry right now). Has to have a versatile look and be comfortable in front of the camera. Sure it's good if she's able to do high fashion AND commercial, but to be perfectly honest it's the commercial stuff that's more lucrative and a top model is a model that earns a lot.
