Dead referrals

Referrals that were active at some point in the last two years now are no longer active.I know, Mylot isn't a ptc site, and I can't offer a "refback for coming here and that would be unethical.I wonder what is the problem? They don't like posting or is it lack of time? Why would a person join the site, start posting and suddenly disappear forever?

Many reasons, they got bored, their friends left, the money wasn't enough for them, they got trolled, they got busy with other things in life, they found more interesting sites, etc.

Who says that it would be 'unethical' to offer a refback for coming here? It would be an incentive to get them to participate and there is nothing to stop you from offering it. I do, and I believe that I am not alone, and it works. After all, they help boost your earnings so why not give them some of it back because 25% is a huge amount, especially if they are active. Have you tried contacting them through PM and advising them or asking where they are and if they have something that they do not understand here?

Some of them are "figurines", you know what I mean, but some have English as their mother-tongue, and they know where they are, but they are unhappy because they think I'm making huge income on them!

Then why not show them that they are wrong and tell them that you will share with them?

There are as many reasons as there are people who do this. I don't know what the turnover is on mylot, I just know more join than leave. But this is one reason why I have never bothered with referrals. I didn't want to depend on them.

That would be risky - depend on them.I'm glad this site gives us opportunity to make it on our own.

Probably there are many reasons why a person might stop using a site. Maybe they are busier in their offline lives, perhaps they've joined other sites or have found other sites is different types of rewards. Some people just like to take a hiatus from it and will eventually come back? I've noticed that with a lot of people at various sites. I always like seeing those who have been missing for a while!

Hello silvercoin, There are many reasons to say. The maybe and perhaps will come flowing to justify their absence or being inactive. Irrespective to my own referrer and referrals i don't mind them when i am enjoying reading and commenting discussions but whenever i think on the earnings. There come to a point that i think of them of how can i do reciprocating the 25% out from their efforts in here but sad to know they are all inactive. But good to know about my own referrer for he can enjoy yet from my enthusiasm in here thus, i am always looking forward for his words on my own post. However, there are people which we cant please to comment on our uninteresting topics. Still happy mylotting!!

Thanks for joining this "unhappy upline" discussion. The world has it's own rules, we can't change the way others think or act.Same with referrals.Happy Mylotting!
