My friend actually pay me back the money he borrow

Well, I owe my friend an apology here, even though he might not know about mylot website. I felt like I fail my trust and my faith to this friend of mine. Remember I post some discussions about this friend of mine borrowed me some money some weeks ago. He didn't pay me back and I didn't intend to ask him about it. Today, it is the pay day from his work. And in the first thing of the morning. He took out $40 from his wallet, and pay me back all that money he owe me. I felt so shame about it. Because I actually wrote a discussion about my suspicion whether he would pay me or not. Now, he prove me wrong. I should have some faith on people. Maybe they have problem temporarily.

I think that it's great that your friend proved you wrong. It's good that he's honest and he values your friendship above material things. I cannot blame you for not having faith in people, though. It's really hard to find the trustworthy ones so when you do, like now, you should cherish them.

I should, and I owe him an apology. I will apologize here with sincerity. It was my fault though. Thanks for reading my discussion. It is hard to find a trustworthy person nowadays.

It's nice that you admitted that you were wrong, by the way. Others would've just left it alone especially if no one really knows the person.

Yes, I think I read your discussion and even replied to it, I don't really recall when it was- it seemed long ago. 
But that was really nice f your friend t really pay you back the exact money you lent him; at least he's not one of those who never pay back. Now you know he can be trusted, he just needed time.

Long before during a friend of mine borrowed money from me, and because she is a close friend i lend her the money. That was during my birthday and I was kind enough to lend her that money because she need it for her sister's tuition. She promised to pay me back. Months passed, she always give me reasons why she could not pay me. And unfortunately, it took years and until now I have not receive a single cent from her. I really had terrible experience about people asking or borrowing money from you. Now, I am hesitant to lend money to people.

I understand your feelings its not your fault if you suspected your friend about this matter if he talk to you and tell you that its not a pay day yet then you will fully understand him but since he did not he cannot blame you if felt that way anyway it is good that he already pay you

Well,well now. Money can cloud one's thinking, now can't it?? Deep down, you knew the answer. Don't forget you gave him that 10 after the first loan wasn't paid back. So many times, we really know the answer but we can talk ourselves into most anyhing.

hmmn, what can I say? I never doubted my friends if they'd pay me back, but I guess it's the reason why my best friend and I are not talking to each other because she knew I would always pay off my debts but she was really insulting already, even though she knew that I'm going through a financial upheaval that time and she didn't actually need the money, she has a lot, I don't really know what was going on her mind that time but I was hurt and I payed it back and thanked her, but I can't make myself to forget the things she said to me, it's good that you feel this way but I don't think she felt any remorse when I payed her back...sigh
