Yes, this is Touchstone Picture's new adaptation of the famous Shakespeare play (Romeo and Juliet)..hope they don't die though, although I think they will.
They're Gnomes obviously...set in the lawns of neighboring houses. Same story, but funnier and cuter.

couldn't stop laughing while watching this.
Can't wait until February 11

This is the type of movie that can be really great and original, or really nonsensical. . .it looks intriguing, though, and the gnomes are cute, so I am hoping it lives up to its potential!

And, if it introduces kids to Shakespeare, it can't be all bad, no matter what!

They are too fun ! Shakespeare rewritten for gnomes of gardens is a great idea. I like when a cartoon has two levels of understanding possible : one for the kids and one for their parents and grand parents. I think that everybody can have fun with this Gnomeo and Juliet
.
In February we will definitely need some gnomes emoticons at myLot

This would definitely be a new take on Shakespeare. it just might be interesting though. I would like to see how true to the work of shakespeare this film would actually be.
