I never complain in washing clothes of the entire family. But what I only complain is that the strange odor. Due to redundant use of the same t shirt.

Hi. asliah. I have never washed my parents clothes before. My husband on the other hand has. He used to do this about 6 years ago when we used to live with his parents. I did not like when he used to do this. When their clothes needed washing, he would wash their clothes when we washed ours. I did not like that at all. We all used separate washing machines though. I thought that his father was being so lazy to not wash their own clothing. One time my father-in-law washed our clothes, and a pair of my undies got mixed up into their clothing too. It made me feel uncomfortable. I got a little upset about it, and my father-in-law has never washed my clothing again. I am very private. I don't like any other person washing my clothing but my husband and me only.

HI, I did help to wash some of my parents' clothes (those soft material) when I go back to visit them. But for our daily wears, all are washed by our helper. So washing clothes is not really our own duty now since we have helper at home. Of course, I do willing to help my parents wash their clothes and It is not a big task for me.

I don't wash my parents clothes because we hire someone to wash all our clothes. But if ever my parents would want me to wash their clothes, i will surely do it for them. It doesn't matter if i hate washing clothes, but i think i have to do it since they are my parents and because i love them.

Most often we do things for other people because we do love them. But I think our concern drives us more to do things like washing clothes, cooking etc. for them. The thing is sometimes parents become choosy on who will do the washing of their clothes which is funny. I tried to wash the clothes of my parents one time and they told me not to mind it. After 30 minutes, I saw my younger sister doing the washing for them. I think they prefer someone from their children to do the washing. Not favoritism but I believe they are comfortable with that child doing the washing.hahaha

yes... i do. But it's not a daily routine. when i am about to wash my clothes after bath and have seen some clothes on drum,,, then surely i am ready to wash them. Here, in my family, i have my parents and me... just after my sister's marriage, so no second way either... Take care.

hello asliah, Yes,i do wash my parents clothes without questioning. If our parents took care of us since we are a baby, washing their clothes is not a big deal to show how much we care and thank them for caring us. i will wash my parents clothes as long as i've got the chance to do it.

Sometimes my mother asks me to do laundry for her. She does have a good excuse for not doing it herself. She does not have a washer or a dryer and must go to the laundromat to wash her clothes. It is a small favor to ask and i am usually happy to do it.

Hi dear, If you do it with your own willing and wish and with pleasure, I appreciate you. Because, doing anything for our parents are never to be measured and consider it as our duty and can do proudly. But if you are busy or have not time enough at certain times, you can ask your sister's help. But ignore, boys and giving such jobs for boys can keep as the least preference. Also, nothing to be worried for any job we are doing for our parents. Regards, Thank-s

Greetings! yes. I sometimes do when I'm not busy. They already understand my situation that I'm busy at school that's why I don't have enough time to wash their clothes but whenever they asked me to, I would do what they said but I'm having a hard time washing their clothes because some of their clothes are heavy and big. Haha! That's why I need a lot of effort in washing their clothes. :)

Hello asliah, It good to hear that from a daughter. It think your mom just trust you that much and she knows that it's something you can do well. In my case, it is the other way around. Whenever I am at home for the weekend, I would be surprised not to find the clothes I have washed and hanged in the laundry line. Whew! My mom was NEVER confident of my ability to wash my very own clothes! I feel shame whenever she does it! She would even wash my under wears. You are lucky pal. At least your mom could trust even for that thing.

I'm the at home dad so I tend to be the one that dose the day to day tasks. Having said that when ever my partner is home we just do it between us. I just see it as that it's something that's got to be done.
