TWO-AND-A-HALF MEN: Shouldn't It Be at-Least Two-and-Three-Quarters By Now?

On the Television-Banner (above) I saw those guys from "Two-and-a-Half Men." Isn't that kid a 'young-adult' now? When should we update that pic?

Ideally yes because of his body size, but realistically NO, as his role still depicts a child with lots to learn. It take much more to be a Man then simply age and height. They could call it Two-Men-and-a-Teen. But then the entire concept would be ruined. As I suppose this is why he has such a childish role to emphasize the half man role. I also suspect this is the reason why Charlie was not allowed to wed as then the entire concept is lost. It will have to come to some form of end sometime, but for now apparently the network and the producers feel it is still a big hit, I do not blame them as I love this show, as the half man signed a hefty million dollar renewal contract. So I suspect the half man will remain as tiny brained as possible to keep the zest alive on the original concept.

Or maybe it was talking about the metaphors of how divorce makes one 'half a man,' the single lifestyle makes one 'half a man,' so the child half to be a man-and-a-half to raise himself among the two half-men.

Now that makes a great deal of sense. I tell you we would be great at writing a film and or show.

Maybe we are, we're just too lazy to out-do Ben Affleck & Matt Damon (the guys that wrote Good Will Hunting?) by putting it down on paper. Or maybe we are out-doing them, achieving levels of laziness they could only dream of!

Well, the "young-adult" is represented as a smartless teenager... So I don't think they should rename the TV Show, it's fun. Sadly they have been showing too many chapters where the adults call theirselves too-old to have fun. I think they should add new characters which may replace the current ones in the future, but it's very hard. I disagree with the rename~ sorry.

I think that's what "TAAHM" (and most of the other 'group of thirty-somethings'-sitcoms) are ABOUT: the realization that you ARE getting too old to have 'fun' (at least the same 'fun' you had when you were younger). Reminds me of a poem one of Monica's lovers wrote about "all women" (on "FRIENDS"): The Empty Vase. I see that he was talking--of course--about the human body ... once you've gone through its whole bag of trick, you realize everyone else's bag of tricks is just the same (Of course, there's something indescribable about 'promising your bag to one other person only, who promises their bag to you alone,' but--being single--I have to see that as mostly-'self-deception')

Me and a few of my friends were discussing this recently and yeah I agree he's no longer a kid to be honest should just be called three men now, or they could replace him for a younger model. Which I suppose would enable to carry on with many more series, it has to be updated though surely.

Maybe they could do like STAR TREK and have "Two-and-a-Half Men: The Next Generation"
