Do you have a "wish list"?

Its a new year, time to change things, organize things, and work on ourselves. I don't like to think of New Years Resolutions, since they usually get forgotten a week or two after the new year is here....however if we consider things that we want to do or accomplish in the year to come things tend to get done.
As we go through the year, we will build up a wish list of things that we will want to get to make our lives easier.
I have a wish list already started, such as:
I wish I was more organized....of course, something that I am working on.
I wish I had a way to use my attic for storage, something I hope to get use of this year.
I wish I had more time to get on the computer to make money online to help out with things that we need.
So I thought I would make up a discussion here.... do you have a "wish list"? Is it a realistic wish list?

I have, and it's a long one LOL. Just kidding. I started with a wish list (more of like a goals list) some years ago and I don't add much to it until I'm not able to achieve the first on the list. I make it realistic as much as possible. It's more rewarding that way. So, for this new year, I haven't actually created one as the list I created before is not yet complete because it takes years for it to be completed.
What I started last year during my birthday was to reward myself with anything to help me with financial security. I am contemplating on that and I'd like to do it again this year. Let's see if I can have it for every birthday that comes. :)

that is a great way to look at it, and yes, we dont want to add more to a list if nothing gets done on our old ones...I so agree with that!!
keep up the good work!! thanks for the response and happy mylotting.

I am working on my wish list right now...I've spent the last four days cleaning and reorganizing my craft room. After that I will paint it and spruce it up with new curtain too then work on the rest of the upstairs. In Feb. my son is going to lay new carpet in my bedroom and hopefully we'll also get the hallway painted.....I also would like to work more on my writing. I have not done that much lately due to my craft shows....

When I was a teenager I had a wish list. Out of those things I have bought a home, got a car, passed my driving test, traveled around the world, had a daughter and become a dog owner. I didn't buy a yacht or get an open top car. Now I am in my late thirties I think that in life I want to have good health, good luck and happiness. One wish list I still have is my travel wish list and in the last three years have crossed off two more destinations that I have been lucky enough to go to. These were Cape Town and Vancouver. Still on my list are destinations in South America like Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil and Chile. Also there are places in Asia like the Philippines, China, India, Japan and Thailand. In Africa I have Madagascar on my list. I tend to put realistic things on my wish list. They have always got reachable targets on my lists.

I think that 2 things on your wish list you could combine into 1. You wish you were more organized and you wish you had more room in the attic. Well, in organizing things means you have to let go of a lot of things and purge or throw them away. If you throw things away....you may not need the extra room in the attic.
Myself, as well, would like to be more organized.....especially my basement. I would like to be able to talk my husband into doing minor renovations to my basement as well.

oh I am getting rid of things, slowly but we manage to get rid of things a couple times a month to help us get organized...its just harder because we just had another baby and our house is so small, which makes 5 people living in a 2 bedroom house, and the attic space would help to put away things I can bring out later when the kids are older and also be a selling point when we go to sell the house as usable space.
good luck on your basement...I so wish we had a basement here but our next house will definitely have one!!

This is a good question!
This year, my biggest mission is to get rid of my KP, a skin condition which means I have little spots on my legs and arms. Its unsightly, but nothing more, so the drs dont care. My plan is to try a few things to make it go away, and hopefully to get it under control. Also I want to lose a little weight before my brother's wedding this summer.
As for longer term though, I'd like to travel a little, but ultimately I'd like to emigrate, settle down and have a family. Thats all really.
Anything more would be amazing.
I'd like to think my wish list is realistic :)

that is exactly what a "wish list" is suppose to do....fix us, make things better and easier for us... so you just start with one wish and get it done...then move on to the next one.
good luck!!! thanks for the response and happy mylotting!!

I have many wish list, but now I don't believe on wishing because I already wish a thousand times. There are no wishes came true, so I think it's a waste of time wishing for something. Maybe in daydreaming, i believe. I wish, I wish, I wish that my wishes comes true.

I know where you are coming from and I understand, but just remember we have to keep positive and always have a wish list to keep us motivated. We never know what tomorrow will bring and the very next day may be the best day of our life....so always keep wishing and daydreaming, it is what makes us great!!
thanks for the response and happy mylotting!!
