now this topic would be messy if not handled right... i could get some nasty mails tomorrow from women who would read this and interpret this the wrong way. anyway, just a few hours ago, i was going to buy something at the mall and while i was on my way there, this car just over took me and a few inches more, it would have made my day. what surprised me was, the driver got out of the car and started yelling at me and told me come out... even gave nme the finger. yup! got that right, the driver was a she. now what do i do... i kept thinking about it while i was inside. to argue with her would be pointless as i was trained very well by my girlfriend and mum not to argue with women. pffft! so i didnt bother going out and just gave her my best smile. i was really starting to get pissed at all the things she kept saying, luckily, a traffic enforcer came up to us and he saw the whole thing. good thing though because i was really loosing my grip on the hard learned lessons i got from spending 6 years with my girl. this kind of incident happens a lot to my friends too. sorry, girls. i wonder what's inside their heads while driving. i even saw a girl riding a motorcycle and ignored the red light yesterday.i know not all women drivers are the same. i have a few friends who i trust behind the wheel with my life. i just need to know the difference between men and women drivers, that's all. this isn't intended to be a debate or an argument. PEACE.

I am a woman and yes i drive too and like what you've said not all women drivers are the same. I have encountered irresponsible men drivers myself and met such kind like that woman you mentioned. So I think it happens to both genders and not to women only. It's person dependent and not gender dependent. In my case i have met women who are irresponsible at driving and most of them are careless, but so are men in here. I've met me avoiding traffic rules all the time too, especially taxi drivers and public vehicle drivers.

Without any prejudice to the women, I do vote that women are more impatient when it comes to driving. I am not saying all women are that way. But a large number seems to be that way. There are others that could put Michael Schumacher to shame but my experience tells me that there are very few women that talented in driving.

You're a good man jamuls, by not getting out was wise, because it could have turned against you if you ended up doing something wrong. As a woman driver myself, I have to admit, I drive with a lot of caution, much more than my husband can take at times. I think some women and even men, can get embarrassed if they do something wrong and then they want to blame the other driver. I remember one time when I was driving and though I am cautious, I am not so cautious as to not stop when I am close to a light and it turns yellow; I will go through it. Well, when I did this, this lady I guess wasn't paying attention to the traffic, but the light and when she noticed my side turn yellow, she pulled out. I barely missed her and she got out and stood there during the whole timing of the light, yelling at me. I just sat there and let her vent. She obviously was embarrassed because she wasn't watching the cars, but the light.

when i drive i usually pace it at 40 to 60kph when my girlfriend drive she hits well over that speed mark and that's in the city so i get white knuckled and dare not to breathe till we get to where we're going and then tell her she should drive a bit slower women drivers, you either love them or hate them

well, for the mens perspective women driver brings you headaches....when driving but ...to tell you frankly haven't you had any experiences with men who have done like that....we just recall only women...but the mere fact man also drive through trafic light is red, man bumps into someone's bumper due to carelessness, man made a wrong turn cause he is busy with something....for me it doesn't make any difference...men or women drivers...we are only human...we make mistakes and dumb sometimes :-)

That's funny! I've been hit in parking lots by male drivers, while in neutral and parked. I've been backed into on the side by a male driver. I've been called a b**ch by a male driver. Here in the states we have our biggest problems with new immigrants who don't realize we have more police enforcement here!

My car were almost hit back lady drivers so many times. I have avoided all of them and that is really fortunately for me. There was once, a lady driver just swerve to my lane while my car front was around her rear door. She just swerves over and I did an emergency lane change to the right and luckily for me there was no car coming on the right. To my horror, the lady driver did not even know that she had swerved recklessly into my lane. That is the way it is. Deal with it. Cheers.

Driving is a privilege that is not extended only to the male gender. there are as many fine women drivers as there are men. Women can make as many traffic and driving mistakes as men. they are just judged a bit more harshly because they are the female gender. It is just easier to find fault with womens' driving instead of men. It is just assumed/

well i agree with you, sometimes girls drivers or riders drive in a way that they catches eyes of the whole traffic. many times i have seen a jam caused because of mistake of a women drive and moreover you cannot argue with them or you have to hear a lot and get into a nasty argument. i think that women should concentrate on their driving and accept their mistakes rather than arguing when someone tries to teach them to drive properly.

Is true women drivers are always causes trouble? Women drivers are very strict too, try to jump queue they normally wont give a chance to sneak in even if the signal light is on. BUT women drivers are good paymaster too and takes care of the car well and if their car are sold it will be the first choice for buyers.

Wow I am glad that you did not say anything back that was nice of you. More women drivers have accidents due to the fact of not paying attention and talking on their cell phones. More men drivers have accidents due to speed and not obeying traffice devices. I have worked in insurance for many years and have seen it all
