Please dont do texting or on the phone while driving. I had a wake up call after watching TV yesterda that it is dangerous to do Texting while driving. Not that i dont know about it but it was from just one time attitude and then it became a habit. I write it here so that i will always remember not to do it again.

Texting while driving is being very irresponsible. Aside from drunk driving, texting or answering calls while driving are top causes of accidents on the road. Why risk your life and those around you for something that you can do later? Good thing you broke off that habit.

I think that not only texting but answering a cell phone should be illegal. It is very dangerous to lose concentration while driving, by any circumstance. Last year I forbid my mother to talk to me while driving. She likes to watch the landscape and her favorite sentente is "Look at this!" We either drive or look away. We cannot do both. It seems that people don´t love themselves . You don´t have to write it down: just put your cell off. Then you will not forget to do it when putting gas either.

I agree with you one hundred percent. It is really dangerous to text while driving. In fact, it is really dangerous to do anything other than driving when you are driving. There are a lot of hazards on the road, even in the best of circumstances and it is important to keep your wits about yourself and eyes firmly on the road, so you can really be mindful of your surroundings. I will be the first to admit that I am not the biggest fan of texting in general. I think it is pointless and a bit silly. However, if you want to do it when you are sitting in the comfort of your own house, more then fine. However, when you're behind the wheel of a car, that's not a good idea. If not your own safety, at least be mindful of the safety of other people driving and also pedestrians if the car veers a bit, when you are not on the ball. Both hands on the wheel and both eyes on the road will rarely steer you wrong.

Most routine texters do not understand this unless they actually get a wake up call of some sort. Last year a 28 year old plastic surgeon while driving was sending a Tweet which cost him life. I have no idea what could be so important to Tweet and end your life. Unfortunate lots of people still do it as no one believes something bad can actually happen to them at the moment. I use to do this and it is a bad habit, and I have learned for a while now that there is absolutely nothing that can't wait until I arrive and or pull over safely to read and or send.
