I still remember reading Romeo and Juliet early in high school. Frankly speaking , I had no feeling at all at that time. Few years later, I went to watch a movie about this story and I enjoy the song " what is a youth" very much and the movie was a pretty good movie for a young person like me at that time.Although I didn't know how beauty of the shakspear literature but the story seems to be so sad. Well, I am not sure will there be anything like that in the real life today but I really hope that the lovers can always enjoy their time together without go through all the unnessary suffering experience like what this story had shown.Another thing I have learned from this story was that "Don't call yourself Romeo!" Why ? It was because a guy who was called that name in my grade 13 class got everyone to make joke or laugh at his name.Ha ha ha.

I enjoyed Romeo and Juliet during my high school days.
I love how the story was written but I agree with you with the ending of the story. It is really sad.
I think the love during the time of Romeo and Juliet depicts what type of society they were in.
I mean, those were the times where relationship is not as open as today.

Irene,You have just made a point, the society is just too open in relationship in today's world.Sometimes, I prefer people keep it like the old way. I still remember while I was studying in University,I went to visit a person in the student's residence . In the pubLIC sitting room where people can watch TV, there was a big long sofa in front of the TV. I am watching tv with some of the people in the sitting room and suddenly, two U students sat on th sofa and start kissing each others. They were so into it and totally ignore almost ten other people who are watching TV at the moment. People are forced to watch their intimate bahaviour because they were just getting so close to the TV. Although nobody said anything but nobody would enjoy the TV like that. This example told us that people in today's world were just so egocentric and never concern how others would feel about them. This "I don't care" attitude really influencing the whole world especially to the new generation. perhaps the western world has loong been lower down their standard in everything andtha's why it seems that everything is allow in the western world with the name of "freedom". Sometimes, I wonder people are abusing freedom rather than reinforcing it.I don't think freedom means ignoring what other people think and how other feel as well. That's not freedom and that's actually selfish. I think that we really have to sat up better example to our next generation before they are getting worse. What do you think?Thank you for your comment anyway.Have a good day.
