Studies show that a whopping 89% of adults in the US do not get the recommended servings of fruits and vegetables each day, making the regular use of nutritional supplements more compelling. Although I do not live in the US, I htink I also fall into that category. Right now, I am taking Evening Primrose Oil, Calcium pills as well as multivitamin pills. How about you? Do you take any health supplements?

Hi Wdiong, I'm the same. I take calcium as well as multivitamins. Apart from that I try to eat lots of fruits and vegetables. :)

I think many people are ignorant on the importance of food supplements and rely too much on foods that are filling but with no health benefits. I am taking evening primerose oil, vitamin C, fish oil on a regular basis. I don't overload myself with health supplements as I believe in taking healthy nutritious foods everyday. Taking too many health supplements not only burn a big hole in my pockets but it will only produce expensive urine.

Yes, it's true that it's better to take healthy nutritious food everyday. It's just that sometimes we just don't take enough of certain vitamins or minerals that our bodies need :)
