It is a fact that not all our plans or methods can be carried or be in existence single-handedly and successfully. There are times when some people oppose our ideas and try to work against it. But for the sake of balanced and the sake of egos, we try to compromise what we can and work together to achieve a common goal. I would like to ask how many times do you compromise and what compromises that you made regret doing it (the compromise)?

Compromise is a solution where nobody wins. You both don't get what you want. Haha. I've had a lot of compromises in my life I can't remember any at the moment though. I don't think I had a compromise that I regretted. I probably had but forgot about it too. Most of my compromises are made with my boyfriend. We always clash. We are 2 very different individuals. We only have a few things in common. I love how we are different, but it also means a lot of compromises and even giving ways.

Hi there.
i did a lot of compromising in the past in order to make things work. Either to give way for my husband or for the sake of my children's health. Being a wife and a mother isn't an easy taSks. More often than not I am confronted of a situation wherein I have to consider a lot of things , weighing them down and ultimately sacrificing my own interest and happiness .
What I regret? I can not say that I did have regrets making those compromises and sacrifices because I have seen the good fruit of what I did. My husband is happy with his work and my kids are all healthy, though, I am left as a plain wife and mother with nothing to brag about career.
. Now, do I sound like I'm complaining and having regrets?

I compromise things that are needed to be compromised. Life isn't perfect and we have to pick those that we need to keep and those that needed to be sacrificed. It depends on the person what he'll be compromising. It could be his principles, values, ego, personality, work, education, etc..

Lots of times I guess just to keep everyone in agreement with each other. When going to a place (like out of town) we usually talk first and then weigh the pros and cons. After the agreement has been settled, it's then the only time we can actually sigh in relief.

In real world, we have to compromise to reach some co-operations, but I think everyone has his own bottom line and the compromise should be within it. Otherwise the dignity of the person could not be prtected, and maybe it is senseless to sacrifice so much to get the teamwork done. I think the most regretful thing is to compromise to youself. If you always do this you can never keep on you dream and finally get nothing.
