Do you like Enya's music?

I love Enya. I also love classical songs and musical instruments or instrumentals only. I am still very young but I appreciate these kind of music. Do you think I have an old soul, whatever that may mean?

I do like hard rock, but I also like and listen to Enya and others, like Loreena McKennitt. Enya had me with Orinoco Flow. I was ready to sail away...sail away...

Hi LaDeBoheme.
That's good. It's nice hearing that even young people appreciate Enya's music. Celtic music is somewhat enchanting. It was not only used as sound track in The Lord of The Rings. Matrix also used one of Enya's musical score.

Nah, it's perfectly normal. I love Enya's music too, as an eighteen-year-old, songs like Only Time, which I could still recall listening to for the first time in the bathroom of a hotel, Wild Child, and so on. Find it quite soothing and at the same time enigmatic to the ears.

It's nice to hear that. If I have moments that I cannot sleep, I just listen to her music and I got soothe too. Sometimes I day dream of traveling on water when I hear Orinoco Flow. Funny...

Enya's track included in The Lord of the Rings soundtrack was great but I've never found Enya's style appealing. She's just way too opera-ish for my ears. I still like alternative genre.

Enya's music is often used among movies. I bought her album and used it as musical score for Theater plays. But have you heard the Orinoco Flow and Sail Away which they arranged to have a fast beat? It turned out nicely.
