first if u are using windows, then yes virus', malware are susceptible to the computer. The best solution I can give you is never get to much time thinking about
how badly is your PC affected by your computer, rather make use of best anti virus software..they are plenty of them....
Use Escan software if ur PC or laptop is connected to internet

I know the fact that all OS are, but my point is Windows is more susceptible to
malware than other OS. I have seen more of people who use Win talk about fighting
against computer virus, malware,ect than ...MAC or Linux............my personal views.
Android is an exception, not to talk about her this discussion.
