Buoyed by world cup selection, Yusuf Pathan pulled up a magnificent win for India with the help of Harbhajan Singh to lead the series 2-1. Needing 104 runs to win and looking down the barrel, Yusuf slammed 3 sixes of one over of Johan Botha to make the target achievable. and when Yusuf got out and still needing 39 runs to win, Harbhajan took the charge and hit two sixes one of Parnell and another of the chief destroyer of Indian innings, Morne Morkel. It was finally left to Nehra to hit a winning four to seal the marvelous win for India. Yesterday's win will confirm the second spot for India in I.C.C. test rankings when the world cup will start.

I agree that it was a fantastic win.. But we were in a spot of trouble for some time. And it was because Suresh Raina gave his wicket away at a time when all he had to do was stick around. Some how he has this nack of giving his wicket away by playing unwanted shots.... I hope some one talks to him about it to avoid unnecessary drama...!!!!! But I do agree that it was a fantastic win.. No doubt about it

Raina blunders again ! This should be no surprise to followers of Indian cricket. But for Raina's luck, team india's performance is hiding his inability to learn from mistakes. Raina has lost his test spot to Pujara. At this rate, it will not be long before he looses ODI spot too !

Hi msdivkar, It was really fantastic. As long as Yusuf was there there was a hope but his ouster made it look almost impossible. It was Harbhajan who once again proved his worth and proved that he was not selected for the WC for nothing. With this win now as India is up with 2-1, another win or or even tie would bring the series to India.

It was indeed a fantastic win. Harbhajan has turned up into a good dependable batsman now. I hope he will maintain his form to world cup.

It was really a thrilling finish. With most of the top batsmen out,I thought India was down for the count. But Yusuf with his monstrous hits made India to come close to the target.Just when everything seemed right for India,Yusuf got out to a very good catch and the match once again was in balance. But Bhajji made sure that the hard work made by Yusuf Pathan does not get wasted by hitted a couple of sixes and making sure that India reached the target.

wow ! what a match. I was glued to the TV till the last ball. Tension was in the air & my heart was pumping loud. Chewed nails, pulled hairs & loss of sleep has made a maniac. But all the maddness was worth in the end & i could sleep peacefully after India's Win. Thanks to harbhajan & Yusuf. Pathan adds strength to Indian teams by giving it balance in bowling department. India has put a stranglehold on the series with this win. My favorite start of the match is Nehra for hitting the winning runs.

Good Discussion Divakar, When we talk about Pathan, he is the big hitter of the ball after he survives of 2 overs. He is the match changer and could be a match winner. We can recollect his batting icon in IPL3 vs MI and match ODI against NZ.Wat a maiden T20 and ODI century for him.Yusuf is the all-rounder low middle order hitting batsman where india is looking for 2 years after Irfan. When we talk about Bhaji, he not only having talents in spinning the ball also having the talent to hit the ball hard when the team requires. But consistency is missing from this man.If he is consistent then India is very very hard to face.
