Freelancing

How many people on my lot work as freelancers. I am just looking to connect with some other people who write in their spare time, or for a living. I am enjoying learning the ins and outs of editing, creative writing, proof reading, ghost writing, and so much more. Also to those bloggers out there, and especially Squidoo writers, how do you market you work?

Hi there, I'm freelancing part-time with the goal to move to full-time freelancing by the end of the year. I don't write for Squidoo, but I write for other content sites in between writing for clients and blogging. I promote my writing mostly on Twitter and by interlinking it and blogging on topics similar to my articles, so I can use them as sources. If you want to discuss it in details, feel free to send me a private message.

i was working full time as a freelance writer about6 years ago and making a fair amount of money. i am sure it can still be done today but you have to be slightly more creative due to the number of people out there that fancy themselves as writers. you need to also do a bit more legwork as well (research).

I do some freelancing, not fulltime but parttime. I do pretty okay, I have both my own blogs and clients that I write for. I also used to write for Bukisa, but stopped when they changed the payment system. As for Squidoo, I just have one lense there. So I am no expert on that. But if you need more views for the things you write, learn the basics of SEO, that really helps!
