Well, I learned lately that you must set goals in order to achieve anything that you do in life. They are short term, long term and present goals. Of course there are times when things go unplanned but other than that how do you plan life. Do you set goals for the year for three years?

I love to make plans more generous extended periods of time, pressing my future with gifts. I know that I will now leave New Zealand in less than two years, and waiting gives me chills and makes me go gentle into the future with more momentum. I know what present I'll make my friends for my birthday: a good news that it saved for me until then. And see the mind's eye, soul-felt with fingers thin and smooth silhouette of apple tree in the yard, which will bear fruit soon, got pot red roses to my girlfriend, and willow trees that will grow tall, as high house shadows I will write next to the window. I'm welcome to look ahead, we started by my years, the ages to come, because I sprinkled the future destiny with joy, lower or higher. I expect miracles: travel, kids, all my love, uninterrupted. But I also know I'm waiting for tomorrow, it will be sunny and we have breakfast outside, filling us with light to reach us all day Sunday that he'll be sweet and we have extended the play and leisure smile As will appear more cherries and we hang earrings tender ears. I like to make plans. I feel like my gifts to the most thorough, most sustainable. Do not ever get bored of them unravel their dream glossy paper and you contemplate it, to caress, to expect fulfillment.

Most people spend more time planning their next vacation then they doing planning their lives. I heard that once, also, those that fail to plan, plan to fail. How is done though, same way you make other plans. You sit down, and figure out where you are. Like, where do you live, what does that cost, what do you drive, where do you work, etc. Then go, where do I want to be. Then figure out the best way to get from point a to point b. Knowing when would help to, but don't be too concrete, never know what might creep up. So, to put this in perspective. Say, you are a student, studying accounting. You have a part time job, and 2 years left of your school. You are staying in residence, and that is covered with your tuition. You still owe 15000 in school bills, and you are making 10000 a year at your job. Since they are student loans, you can wait till after you graduate to pay them back. So, now you have to decide, what to save, and what it costs for food and what not. What kind of job you want when you are done school. And figure out what it will take to get the job you want, and focus on that. 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, 10 year. Whatever. Maybe you don't know yet, maybe it will change tomorrow, but if you have a goal to work towards, at least you have direction. Gosh, I hope that helped. Sincerely and With Appreciation.

I like setting goals in my life. I find that it keeps me on track and helps me work harder towards what I really want. I guess I mostly do goals in the short term. I have an idea of what I want in the future (meaning in the next few years) but I'm not necessarily as focused on it as I am the things I want to accomplish this year or in the next few months, if that makes sense? I like to make things seem doable so that I don't get discouraged.

My current job actually involves a lot of planning responsibilities. The funny thing is, I don't actually apply it to my personal life. I might have a plan on what to do next weekend, but I don't really set goals on what I want to achieve for say, next year, five years from now, or even ten years from now. It would be good to have a real plan though.

I don't plan, because everytime I do that everything goes the other way.

Planning is a need to set your goals straight. I believed that doing it, makes it more realistic and achievable. When you see your plans, you are able to specifically observe and be guided with you decisions and actions. This year, I made a quarterly plan. Ten plans each quarter that are measurable and time bound. So far, so good, my plans are going well. But I must say there are situations that you have to change plans for the benefit of others.

This year i have put goals on me, my goal this year is to earn more through the internet this year than my past years. I have set this goal because therefor i may be able to catch up on bills to pay and hopefully have a nice life this year. I know money comes and goes so fast you see it gone before you can even use it on yourself. I hope i can earn alot this year and its a goal i set everyday in my life but at the end of the year it really was a long term goal of mine. I also have a goal of getting a house this year and hope that comes true as well as im hoping to have more money shortly with my boyfriend hoping he gets to go back to work soon and that will help us tremendously in a big way. Goals are so important to have and i set goals everyday for myself to achieve and i hope i can get them done everyday or if i plan them long term i hope to achieve my goal.
