At least 1500 milliliters per day Drink plenty of water both for healthy people or patients who are too important, not only can promote the excretion of toxic metabolites, but also reduce the local symptons of upper respiratory tract, and adequate fluid replacement can lead people to the body, spiret all better. In winter, drink plenty of water to relieve sore throat can be very good and other symptoms. Each 200 ml drink Perhaps because life is so busy, working too nervous, perhaps of drinking such a problem is too small, people do not attach importance to. In real life, many people are thirsty before drinking water. "In fact, 75% of the material in the human body is water, when the body water loss amounted to 2% of body weight only when thirsty, that is when you feel thirsty, your body is alreadly in a state of chronic water shortages." Therefore, there should drink water regularly. The correct approach should be 200-250 ml per drink, so the body can actually absorb that. What do you think, welcome to discuss.

Hi dear, You are right. We need bother about drinking water. At many times, due to several reasons, we may either ignore or forget to take water, if not thirsty. As a basic requirement of our body, we should keep a regular timing and habit for taking water and which helps to maintain good health and body working conditions in tact. Earlier I used to forget drinking water. So it is my practice that once I got up in the morning I used to drink a glass of water, and once I reach in office, at 10:00, again 2 glass of water and after lunch 1 glass, after 4 one glass and again come back home 1 glass and after dinner again 1 glass. This is my regular practice and if required in between also. But timings change on holidays and week ends. But keep a track of our health and drinking water daily by required quantity is an essential for our body. Thank-s

The main uses of water are as a neutral enviroment for reactions in cells and as a solvent for removing waste; the amount you should drink depends on the number of cells (your weight), the number of reactions per cell (your metabolism) and the amount of waste to be desolved (effected by many life style and genetic factors) and also things like activity and the amount of diaretics you have consumed. The myth that there is a certain amount of water that is right for everyone comes from research showing the average water consumption including water content of food which was misappropriated by bottled water companies for adverts asking weather you had had your 8 glasses per day, the fact that most people do consume 8 glasses equivilent in food, tea etc does not suggest that this is the "right" amount of additional water to drink.

Because I thought diet sodas were healthy for me, I used to drink diet sodas a lot, but after finding out that almost all diet sodas have aspartame and most fruit juice drinks have high fructose corn syrup in them, I stayed away from them both like the plague. Now i only drink either bottled water a lot when I eat my dinner, or bottled water with those instant tea sticks; those tea sticks that you can pour into a 16 oz. or more water bottle, shake and drink.

Hello Mark98, I had started a similar descussion a couple of days back, you might wanna have a look. With so many beverages, and different drinks around, the urge or thirst for water is very less. Moreover people are into more mental than physical work, and they to tend to sometimes forget to drink water,or do have very less water than the quantity required by the body. Water is an essential part of our lives and yields great benefits if regular intake is there. I was wondering if the regular intake of water in not met, does it call for a serious concern?

Our body contains 75 percent of fluid, but we also need to secrete some so we need to replace it. The minimum requirement of water that we need to drink every day is 8 glasses of water. That is the minimum, hence the more the better. Water has a healthy benefit and therapeutic. But many people disregard this benefit including me. We tend to drink other kinds of drinks than water. We prefer more of the carbonated or those with artificial sweeteners which are unhealthy.
