Do you ever want to physically and mentally harm someone so bad its frightening?

Okay so just as the subject title says, do you ever have anything done to you or more to my discussion reasons hear of something being done to others that make you just want to walk outside your door hunt a person down and both physically and mentally (all be it probably more physically) want to harm a person? Okay so a little bit of insight in why im asking this odd question. Around November or so here in my country right where I live not even 10 minutes walk away within the time frame of 3/4 weeks there were 5 robberies. Now a robbery itself does not make me want to harm a person, but in this case it did. Why do you ask? Because the victims ranged from 71 - 96 years old. A young thug (and those aren't the words I want to use describing him) would wear a hooded top wait until they collect their pension money or were standing / walking alone some where and just run up and force their bags and wallets off them. No elderly person felt safe and my mother is actually a care worker for the disabled and elderly so she was collecting their pensions for some that couldn't get it themselves and I was even worried about her as sometimes she would be carrying a large amount of money. I fixed that by going with her and sometimes my partner would even tag along (and shes 6ft2 not many young thugs will mess with someone that height on their own because their chicken bleeps). Only once did this thug mess up his routine (same person everytime) and thats when two builders just happened to be walking out of a store and heard the woman trying to fight him off so they gave chase but lost him. Luckily a few days later after they were able to describe the bleephead (interrupt what im saying there) he was finally caught by police. But it was only when I thought about this, I realized something. More and more elderly are being mugged, beaten, robbed and so on and all for a few pounds sometimes that wouldn't even buy a packet of cigarettes. I remember a case a few years back in England of a woman being beaten so bad shes still in a local care institution because shes afraid. So just to sum up, has anyone ever heard of cases like this or this happening close by and wanted to go out and find the bleep-head doing it and give them a taste of their own medicine? Maybe im just not right in the head or something but things like that especially against the elderly, disabled and children makes me sick to my stomach wanting to harm the person doing it. So am I alone in my feelings of what id do to them if i caught them first or is there others?

Hi. sparky3dfan. I can understand your anger, hatred and frustration. But killing someone and getting back at them is not the right thing to do. I truly believe that you should let the law handle this person. Also let God take care of them, because he can do far greater damage to them, than you ever can. In the states that I have heard about, many elderly or being killed because of being robbed. They also are being raped, especially the elderly women. It is just so sick! It does make a person sick to their stomach when they hear about an elderly adult being hurt, robbed, killed and raped. I can never understand why someone would want to hurt an elderly person. It is good to know that you were your mom's protection as she carried the elderly pension money too. I just think that elderly people should protect themselves from the harm of a mugger, rapist and a killer. Many muggers think that the elderly is dumb and incapable of protecting themselves from people like them, but they are very wrong. Elderly people are beginning to fight back at their attackers nowadays.
