What is the best diving and surfing spot for you?

I am from the Philippines and the spots I've tried that really stood out are 1) La Union and 2) Siargao. These places are paradise. Have you been here? The beaches of La Union are to die for. It's for the adventurous soul like mine. And Siargao also. It's lovely there. Perfect for surfing.

I agree with you with the surfing spots. I would like to add info's on two more spots. Baler, Aurora and Bagasbas Beach in Daet, are good surfing spots here in the Philippines. And for Siargao, this is one of the best in the world (one of the top 5 to be precise).
As for the diving spots, I would suggest in Anilao, Batangas, Verde Passage in Batangas, Apo Reef in Mindoro, Apo Island in Dumaguete, Malapascua Island in Cebu and Tubattaha Reef in Palawan.

Maybe next time we'll try Baler. I haven't been there but I have heard so much rave about the place. And yes, Siargao is definitely world class. I am from Batangas and Im proud that you consider Anilao and Verde Passage as great diving spots. =) Although to be honest, I haven't tried them yet. Thank you for the info. Will try them out really soon!

Hi, you might also want to check out Tubbataha Reef in Palawan, Philippines. It is only accessible during summer (March-June) as the water gets rough sometimes. That, to me, is the best dive spot in the Philippines. Aside from that, you can also go to Balicasag Marine Sanctuary which is near Bohol. A lot of dive shops are located along Panglao Island in Bohol. Balicasag boasts of an eel garden.
