I am not sure if you are alwyas the #1 person in your class, among your friends or co-worker or in everything you do. I am also not sure that whether you will alwyas be th last person in everyhthing you have encounter including the lowest mark in your class or th esloweat perosn in your world. All I know is that the top perosn will alwyas get a clap and honor in everything and the last eprson will laywas be look down upon or being ignored by the public. It may not be fair for many people but unfortunately it is a fact. Well, share with us about your experience.

I often feel like i am the last one to ever find out about anything. then again, i am the first one that is often approached to solve a problem. I would be so much happier with a place somewhere in the middle. It would be less confusing.@wildlittlefan (4680)

I think you made a point in here sender, It is good to be in the middle sometimes. It takes lots of presuure to reach the top and be number #1 and it is also harder to maintain that position while there are many new competition is coming up.The #1 guy needs to always need to fight and maintain such a position. It is a very tired experience. Use Olymipic Champion and you will know what I mean. Once they can their first gold medal, they have the pressure to maintain that position in the next olymipic game.I think is easy to be the last one in everything because usally the last guy will be so relax and experinece no pressure at all.Remember the turtle and the rabbit race. The turtle seems so relax and end up won the race at the end. Well, my experience always shows me that when I am getting use to be loser than there is no pressure all the times. Since I have no pressure at all and just do what I am suppose to. To my surprise , sometimes I will ahve a better performance on things. Well, but I still think that it is good to be a hard working perosn and always live out the best in life. We may not want to aim for number #1 but at least we did our own best .Have a good day.

I have been always the lost in line and last to be picked for games while in school!I was one of lowest on the grade list, too! I was not smart and harded school! I pretty much just got by! It didn't help I was so shy and quiet while growing up! I grew up in a rural area, that didn't help either! It probaly be worse if I grew up in a big city but it has always been lonely at the bottom! It has gotten better as in adult but there are still times people, even my own family, forget me! Sometimes things never stay change! Gr!

I am often called competitive. In school, modesty aside, I did well and now at work I can honestly say I'm an asset. I can't say I'm always number one, but I always have to be good at what I do. In fact, in the past when I had jobs I couldn't excel in, I quit. People say we are good at things we love doing, but I think it's quite the opposite---we love doing the things we are good at. It makes us feel good about ourselves.

Well, I do not care if I would be the last or first in what I do.
However, we are judge by what we achieve in life.
People may say you are a moron without taking into account what his genes dictate.
I mean, their are people who are really slow learners because that is the until of what his his genes can do no matter how he tries his best.
And so people should not blame him.
Genes are to be blamed not the person.
There are other reasons why people fail in class like family problems, health, etc.
But they should be given an applause too.
This is because, they try to survive though not at an acceptable level in the society.

This is the sad part of being in a society. Discrimination, segregation, siding, labeling, all of these are results of people's wanting to be on top of the other.I feel sad for all of these. You're right in saying people put down an unaccomplished man and shower praises for a polished man. Whatever a person has or has not, should be respected. I guess this is what we can call the big STRESS upon all of us!

I was not the top in class when i was a student but neither did i receive the lowest mark at that. I was the average jane then and was a plane jane too. However, when I went to law school, things went differently. In some subjects i was excelling and getting the highest scores. So it was a totally new experience for me.
When i started working, the more i developed into a swan. I was excelling in everything including promotional exams where i almost got a perfect score. I became so popular that promotion for me was too fast.
Now, everywhere i go, i just easily get noticed. But do i love this popularity and visibility? I don't. I'd rather be a plane Jane.

I guess...I am somewhere in between those. I have never really been "top" at anything nor have I ever really got any stellar grades or won any cool awards. Which is unfortunate. BUt I'm also not the worst at everything I do. Just stuck somewhere in between, in purgatory I guess. It doesn't really matter much to me though!

I see it as bubbles in a room. Get in a bubble and enjoy. Enjoy each moment because there are moments where you will be last or near the bottom. I've had my moments. I've had math and algebra classes in high school and college where I was the top. I've also had a moment where I was the Head of the Math Department at the school where I taught. I've also been on the bottom. Working at the amusment park, I've watched others being above me not because of their talent and abiltiy but because of what the employer thought. I've accepted both and bathed in the glory of the great times I've had. Under those circumstances, the bad cannot bring me down. Thus, I've floated in good bubbles and bad bubbles. And I know that there is always a good bubble for everybody to get into. Nobody should be in a bad bubble all of the time.

Thats so true and more a kinda universal fact. The hero always gets honoured for everything that he does while there's no one there for a loser anytime. But friends and family make the difference because nothing is permanent in the world. The phrase that you have used repeatedly ie #1 person will never remain #1 forever. As long as he works for that position he will be at the top. So dont be disappointed if your not that #1 person in your class, make consistent efforts to get to that position and one day you will find yourself there. Cheers mate.
Happy Mylotting!
