Well if you listen to the news you see the signs happening. Do you know your bible? Start with Deuteronomy 23:9-18 tells you of soldiers and how they should be in the military . Genesis 19:1-12 tells of sodom and gomorrah what happen to the wicked. Daniel 11:19 tells of how the taxes are raised. 2 Kings 23:35 taxes being raised. 2Kings 24:1-20 Keeping ourselves clean of all evil. Take heed to verses 7and 20and 34 what God will do to the wicked. We stay in Gods word and do what is Gods will we will be alright. We get wicked and God will destroy us. The wicked will be destroyed go up in smoke for God will destroy them. Do you know if you live in the USA that taxes will be going up even more soon? Do you know that in November there are some laws that will be passed that God won't put up with?

I feel that this isn't anything new... to say it simply, the things you have described have been happening repeatedly throughout history. However, I also think that your attitude is right in that you are waiting, expectantly, just as the Word advises us to do. Even the earliest Christians were eager and expectant of Jesus' second coming.

Hi, thanks for your response. I actually joined MyLot a while ago, but I haven't been very active for a while. Anyways, I just looked up the parable of the fig tree; I'm familiar with it. However, I don't quite understand the connection you're trying to convey, so if you could clarify, I'd be happy to continue this discussion. This sort of topic is certainly no small matter in my life.

The parable of the fig tree began with Adam and Eve. When God came into the garden of Eden they covered themselves with fig leaves. And when Israel became a nation again in 1948 that began the end of the parable of the fig tree. Meaning that Christ is due to return. I don't understand it all the link that I gave you this man teaches the truth about Gods word. It shouldn't ge a small matter to anyone these days we are seeing things that no one has seen. Matthew 24 Mark 13 and Luke 20-21 teaches us what we should be looking for in the end times. Our duty as Christians are to draw people back to Gods word.

Hi Phr4ukr4wk5 and welcome to my lot. The only difference in history and now we are in the parable of the fig tree. That was the begining of the end of this earth age. God wants all HIS children to watch for HIS return. If you want to know more you need to listen to the teacher of Gods word and learn. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.htm This man can help guide you in the right direction .

I am looking at events in Israel. That is what is telling me that we're in the End Times. I also remember Jesus' warnings about those who are giving birth in the End Times. I feel sorry for the children because their lives (all over the world) are more in danger now. Fathers and mothers killing their children. Teens indiscriminately killing other teens and children. Yes, I see what Jesus told us to look out for. But when the Temple is rebuilt. That's when we know things will get really bad. That's when the AntiChrist will be here.

Jesus didn't mean with child like a mother giving birth God meant those in bed with satan worshiping him and for those giving suck means to those that are trying to promote satan. Yes there has been many rumors of wars in history but in history we wasn't living in the parable of the fig tree. When Israel became a ntation May the 5th of 1948 that was the begining of the end. The parable of the fig tree you have in the bible starting with Adam and Eve. I am not qualified in Gods word as the man on the link I have provided but I do know that we are supposed to share Gods word and try to bring people closer to God. It also says in the bible to not cast your pearls before swine. Meaning if someone can't hear or see then don't waste your time telling people of Gods word! The abomination of desolation is the anti christ! Christ temple won't be rebuilt till after we go through the milium and then the anti christ will have a short time to spend so those that haven't learned of the true Christ and are tempted by the anti christ will be bloted out of all of those of us that go on to live with Christ.

Yes he is. Jesus is talking to Jews. Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?" Jesus answers starting in verse 4. In verse 19, he says, "And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!" As I've said before, Jesus tells us when the end shall come. Matthew 24:15 When ye therfore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standin the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand.) Chapter 24 gives you an idea in Jesus own words of when the End will come. I agree with you that Jesus tells us to beware of the AntiChrist. He is first talking to Jews (his first disciples) when he says, Matthew 24:23 "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:26 Wheretofore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. Hopefully someone will understand that since Jesus was talking to Jews at first, He is telling us that the Jewish Moshiach is not the Messiah. When their Moshiach comes showing wonders and powers, many will think that he is the Messiah. He will rebuild the Temple (only a Jewish person can rebuild the Temple.) But he is not the Messiah. He is the AntiChrist. The Messiah (Jesus) will come "in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Those are in Jesus own words. There have always been wars and rumors of wars. Early Christians thought they were living in the End Times. During the Dark Ages, Christians thought they were living in the End Times. But Jesus tells us when we'll know for sure that we are in the End Times. The Temple is rebuilt during the Abomination of Desolation (look at Daniel.)

There are so many bad news, natural disasters, economic disasters, serious accidents, new diseases... ...etc. It seems the end day is not far away from us now.Actually, when you turn on your radio or tv, more bad news than good news. So we ask ourselves, what's wrong with the world? We are all expecting our life better and better, but the truth is not. I think everything has its reasons. Maybe we human being are too greedy, and god decide to punish us. I think to let our offspring have resources to live. We should make some change from now.

God isn't punishing us we are doing that ourselves by not listening to the true word of God. God is a loving God and don't wake up everyday saying who am I going to zap this day. God gave us all free will and we have to choose to do what is right in HIS eyes. There is so much evil these days you are right about that. Our lives won't end just these human forums we have will be shed and we will all be truned into spiritual bodies when the True Christ returns.

All of the pieces you're talking about are things that happened about 3000-5000 years ago, and continue to happen, over and over and over again, for all of human history. The way we'll really know if the biblical end times are coming, is from a piece of revelation. "And lo, there was a great earthquake, as the sun turned as black as a sacloth, and the moon is as blood". It also speaks of how, "Every fig with fall from it's fig tree." So, by this, the end of the world will happen when there is a world-wide earthquake, powerful enough to clean off every tree from it's leafs, while there is a constant solar eclipse.

Oh, I've read it, I'm an atheist that has done loads of study in pieces of religion. Revelations is actually a favorite chapter of mine, because it is so sci-fi and full of just plain madness. If you want, you can remove certain parts, and throw in whatever you feel like, but that doesn't make it any kind of reality. Really, you could do the same thing with the Qur'an, the Hindu journals, the Mormon bible, or even books like Beowulf and Moby D!ck. You really shouldn't be reading so much into them.

You need to study your bible better. Read Ezekiel start with chapter 40 and read to the end of the book. Read Matthew 24 Mark 13 and Luke 21. Then read the whole book of Revelations and you might understand. But if that don't help you go listen to this man he can teach you all about the bible. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/

Well, you are well versed in your bible. I did read bible before, but I did not notice such things. I prefer more to read how Jesus loves His people and giving example on how we should live our life. When God said the end is near, I don't think that is the end of the world, more likely the end of our own life. So we have to be prepared anytime. Even when the world is damaged, there will always be new era of people living. I am not an American nor live in USA. But I believe anywhere in the world now the President or King or whoever head a country is having difficulty in deciding what is best for the country.

I am not well versed it is my teacher of Gods word that gave me the scripture to write this discussion on. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.htm We listen to this man everyday and learn what God wants us to do. There was a first earth age and there is this earth age and there will be a third earth age. The third earth age will be when Christ returns we will then all be turned into spiritual bodies. They will never age nor get sick nor die if we accept Christ as our LORD and savior. The earth won't be destroyed but these human bodies will be gone.

Hello my friend pretty nice lines you just wrote about God but we should not blame God that he is going to destroy the humanity but its we all who are going to destroy ourself. Whatever we do and even whatever we think and say to other goes in the cosmic and come back to us in the same manner and this is a fact and today's science has found out there is more intelligent power in the cosmic than human, who respond back to us. So my point is if all humanity start a new new life and admit that we all are son of God and stop killing each other, stop killing animals, stop the hatered within us but stay peaceful and calm inside then same vibrations of peacefulness will go in the cosmic and respond us back with the same. We need to come out of religion theory but have to accept welfare of humanity and every single creature of God. We are just a family on this earth and we all are created and still getting created by the intelligence. He is making us breath and we should understand that our home is not this world and we not going to stay here for ever but we have to go where we belong to and that is kingdom of God or pure intelligence.

I agree with you that we all need to live in peace. But let's face it humans can't live in peace there is always some bully in this world that thinks they are better then everyone else. And the bullies of this world are always going to be till God returns to this earth to reclaim HIS Kingdom. We can't live in peace because of some A hole that wants to have everything and lord it over everyone else. Good Day!

Good luck on changing for the better but remember the harder we try to live for God and do what is right the harder it may get. Keep the faith in God and keep striving to do what is the best in your life and Gods will. The only way the world will change is when Christ returns.

Well, a lot of worse disasters had happened in the past so I don't really think that the end is near. No one except God knows the time, so its better if will just go on with our lives and do what is right.

No you are right no one but God knows when Christ will return to reclaim HIS Kingdom. But the bible teaches us to watch for HIS return and we are in the parable of the fig tree and that only happened in the year of 1948 when Israel became a nation. We have to live our lives for The LORD and try to be good Christians and watch for HIS return. Have you listened to your news lately ? Every day when we listen to the news we hear of some kind of crime and it is only getting worse! And we hear of some kind of new disaster ! These are signs of the end of times as it teaches in Mark 13 Matthew 24 and Luke 21.
