Here's a question I have been wondering.
Where do you prefer to watch movies at?
Do you wait until they are on DVD or do you watch them in Theater?
We normally wait until they are on DVD then Redbox them, but occasionally, we will go to the theater.

Going to the movies is kinda expensive and we have three of us in our family. We just usually wait until the movie comes out on dvd and then we rent it. I haven't been to the movie theater in a long time. lol

Most of the time, I'll wait for the movie to come to DVD. Only if I really want to see a movie and can't wait that long, or if someone invites me, will I go to the theater. I went to see The King's Speech at the theater, and I know I'm going to see Jane Eyre when it's at the theater, but those are probably the only two. The rest I can wait for.

I very seldom go to the movie theater anymore. I have a large screen HDTV and surround sound and with my Netflix service, I always have movies on hand to watch. I'm also building my own Blu Ray collection of some of my favorite movies. It's just so much more convenient to watch them at home whenever I want. If I happen to get interrupted or have to take a bathroom break or go to the kitchen for a snack, I just hit the pause button and never have to miss a second of the movie. I love it. Instead of having to burn gas and put miles on the car to drive to the theater, I just pop a DVD in the player and hit the play button on the remote. It's not only convenient, I'm helping the environment too!

I don't usually go to theaters. I just go there if someone ask me to go. I am just too lazy to go cinemas because it is expensive. You had to pay for the tickets, then the popcorn and drinks, then the transportation to go to the cinema and back home.
I prefer DVD because I could stay at home.
Well, that is for me because I prefer to stay at home during breaks.

I really prefer watching movies at the theatres. I used to be a movie addict going to theatres atleast 3 times a week. That was during my college years. But, of course, now I don't get the time to go to the theatres. I just have to be content sitting in front of the TV and watch the movie channels.

I love both actually.. But these days I only watch movies at home with the dvd.
It's good since it's much more comfortable and you can pause it or something.
But the movie house atmosphere is really good too.

If there's one particular movie that I like, I watch it in theater. The atmosphere is still much different when you're at home. The thrill and excitement of going to a theater I think is what make it enjoyable and fun. Screen does not matter anymore for there are big screen available for home viewing. I think the feel of it,like the old days makes the difference!

I prefer to watch movies at home because its not possible to go to a theater everytime for every movie. And i dont like missing new movies with my fav stars so i prefer to watch them at home.

I prefer to watch movies at home, because you can get comfortable and do other things like work online, instead of just watch tv. But i don't buy dvds, plus if you end up not liking the movie, then you can just turn the channle. Or if something elese is on that you want to see as well, you can watch something elese. Theatre prices are a bit too high for me, i can afford them but, $10 to see a movie when you can see the same movie on dvd months later for less? I'd rather wait for the dvd or, watch them when they come on stations like hbo or something.
