From my experience I've noticed that I was paid only for longer responses. But I usually don't have time to post longer responses and I am not paid for each of my comments. From what I knew from other users experience, your posts must be at least three or four lines in order to be paid for them.

jco2225, the way earnings are computed are from your posting. Take it as the dues for your work. A deletion means the work is nullified, so it is same as not working at all. So if the post is deleted, whatever earning due to the post has to be taken back. I think it is fair. To be safe, read the FAQ is the best place to learn to post good discussion.

i see,but what does it mean when they say that when your comments are deleted by my lot your income will be deducted. does it mean that every comment that we post it will be read by my lot,and if they don't like it they will delete it and they wont give any payment?is this how it is?

Hi there JCO! Please do not get me wrong if I will be blunt to you. You see, your question can be answered under the FAQ and/or Mylot guidelines, if you have read them. And I guess you are not. So, I will reiterate and remind you my friend to go over the rules and your queries will be cleared out. We earn here by using Mylot - well not for being idle and staring the earnings to come, posting discussions, responding and commenting to discussions, using the search bar, and finishing some tasks. (Answer reference: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14) Hence, earnings are updated within 24 hours using the US Central standard time. Again, refer it to FAQ Moreover, we are required to post something with meaning and relevant to the discussion. If you comment and they are mere thank you or one word or one line, it does not earn you. (Refer to http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx) We have been doing this to the newbies and we are also tired. So please, do your part.

It is fine to say "thank you" my friend, but do not expect that you can earn a cent on that. In other words, expand what you say. Just like what I am doing now. That is the reason why this is called a "discussion" because we mainly exchange thoughts and ideas about something.

The earnings are updated each day at a certain time each day so that could be the problem. Your earnings also depend on a few different things. Are you making long, informative, quality posts, or are you giving one word/one line answers? Are your posts violating the rules and being deleted? Check your email because that could be the case as well, or you could have posted in topics that were deleted.
