I am so excited for the upcoming concert of Yellowcard here in the Philippines. Another hard hitting rock concert this February 2011 (aside from Deftones who are also coming to Manila and have a concert at World Trade Center on Feb. 12 with Urbandub opening for them). Yellowcard is an American pop punk band from Jacksonville, Florida. They are coming back from a two-year hiatus and they will perform at A Venue Concert Hall, Makati Avenue, Makati City at 8 pm on February 20, 20111 (Sunday). The opening act will feature Silent Sanctuary and Hilera, two of my favorite local bands. Yellowcard has been rocking my world since 2007. My favorite songs are Only One and Gifts and Curses.(Gifts and Curses was one of Spiderman 2's soundtracks and Spiderman is one of my favorite movies so it was too perfect for me.) I just hope that I can buy my ticket for the concert because I really love Yellowcard. They are unique from other bands especially rock because they feature the use of a violin which is unusual to the genre and violin's sound is soothing and fascinating to the ears. They hit my heart hard with their songs and I can relate with every lyrics they sing. The song "Keeper" is my newest favorite which I've just heard last night on Music Uplate, an ABS-CBN late night TV program, performed by Silent Sanctuary. (For more info, visit Yellowcard Live in Manila fanpage and Silent Sanctuary on Facebook.For the tickets, they are available in all Ticketworld outlets or call 891-9999 or visit www.ticketworld.com.ph) Yellowcard, I am so excited! "I wish I could be somebody else, I wish I could see you and myself."

I wasn't able to go to the concert. :/ I'm still bitter up to now. Anyways, my favorite songs from Yellowcard are Ocean Avenue, Only One, Way Away, Rough Landing Holly, Believe, and (I think I'm going to include all of their songs here.) My fave albums from them are Ocean Avenue and Lights & Sounds. :) Too bad I wasn't able to see them last February. ;__;
