Creative Ways to Enhance a Photo

I am a shutterbug but I only use digicam and the camera of my phone. I cannot yet afford to buy a DSLR. :D I just want to ask your help in suggesting creative ways to enhance or make my photos more attractive (maybe suggest a photo effects). I only use online photo editor like Picnik and FotoFlexer. I know how to use Adobe Photoshop and GIMP but I am more comfortable using online editors. Please take a look at the photo below. I used Photo Sketched, Painting, Heat Map and Color Effects on FotoFlexer.com. I hope you can suggest ways or innovations. Thanks for participating :)
