It is sad to see another store closed around my area. It first started with Blockbuster, it is inevitable facts as you all might know. Second will be the Home Depot we used to visit to buy home improvement materials and tools. Now, I have to travel farther. Today, I was going to get some stationery and Scotch tape from staple, guess what, when I arrived the parking lot, there is a big sign notify all the customers that Staple is closed. Gosh, another empty leasing space is available on that shopping center I guess. Now, here is my question again, how confidence are you with our current economy?

It is the same problem for me. With the economy now a days it feels as though the brand is different but made by the same people. With the internet and the free movies it provide stores like blockbuster well soon closes. :(

hi, closing of businesses have difference reasons, and not the economy status. even our business was closed because its really not working after 2 years, every year there are good and bad businesses.

I have no confidence at all in our economy, no matter what they say. In my opinion, they're saying we're done with the recession because they think that if they say it often enough and loud enough, it will be so. People are still out of work and prices are rising on everything. All kinds of businesses are struggling because the money just isn't out there. Our economy is still in big trouble.

Well by raising the gas prices like they have there is less for us to spend in other businesses! I think it stinks that they are gauging us! We had our JoAnn's close and it was the only craft store for 20 miles....now I have to go to the neighboring town to get supplies....I think they need to work a bit on straightening out a few things in order to get the economy back where it needs to be.
