DUCKWORTH-LEWIS, the current method in cricket which makes the calculations/decions on the match when Rain or any type of interruption occurs. I think its the worst rule or method I have seen. Its totally a stupid one on my view. THere are many mistakes/unfairness(more than fairness) in this method. Just take todays situation ,SA made 250 in 46 over ,but India should tale 268 to win,What is this???(I am not blaming that India's loss completly on this method). And this method dosen't looks on wicket while reducing or increasing the score. If the first teams batting was over and they scored 250 runs and during the second innings rain cames, and giving a new target(about 120 runs) for the team with 20 overs to play, there the no: of wickets dosent changes, the advantage will be for the team batting second. Iam not going deep into this rule. There are many situations occured where the D/L was bad. There was a new method from JAYADEVAN which is more better and more advantage than D/L,BCCI dosent supported him ,so it dosent came into act,any way just leave it. Do you this the Current Duckworth Lewis method is a good one???? Share your views

No system can be perfect in such a situation. We have to compare one system with other and I feel this system is much better than the system we were using before D/L method. One thing we have to accept that in such a situation the team batting second always gets the benefit of knowing the target and if it is just based on run rate and no heed is payed to the loss or otherwise of wickets in achieving the target than it would be most unfair to he team batting first. Although D/l method is not perfect it takes care of this scenario and takes into account the wickets lost in achieving the target. The target becomes stiffer as you loose more wickets. Untill a new creditable method comes up I think it would be fair to adopt this method.

I think it's a disgrace and should be scrapped. It is very unfair, sometimes to the batting side and sometimes to the bowling side.
