Packing Perfumes and Lotions For A Move

I'm going to be moving within the next couple of weeks. Out of my parents house, and into a couple of rooms that I'm renting in the next town over. At the moment, I've been putting my lotions and perfumes into small shopping bags, the ones that unfold like gift bags (victorias secret, bath and body works). Can you give me any tips for moving this stuff? And also for all the rest of my bathroom and bedroom toiletries.

My housemate has a few of these fold-away fabric boxes that she uses to keep her perfumes etc in. She's always moving stuff around, so its great because they can be used temporarily to hold such items (the dimensions of the box - 30x30x30xm - make it ideal for this) and once she's finished moving her stuff around, she just collapses the boxes and stores them away. They've helped me too. If you don't have access to that, then I suggest an open shoebox. That way you can account for everything you have, the regular shape makes moving it around easy and the cardboard should be strong enough to support the weight of the bottles and their contents (if not, then just add another layer or two of thin card to the inner). Good luck with moving your stuff :)

hello neired, It's better if you can put those stuffs in a box with cover and handle. A plastic box with handle that you can carry like a bag,it would be safer that way. But if you don't have much time to buy for a box, then you can sealed each bottle with tape to lock each cover. Make sure to lock the lotion,if it has lock cover, then put tape on it for security. Enjoy your new place and welcome to Mylot
