Peoplestring may be scam....

Hello fellow Mylotters. I logged in to Peoplestring last night after a long absence, about eight months. Do you know they set my account to ZERO? I am led to understand one must log in every month else loose all earnings and points. It really disappointed me, and I started a thread about it. I have never belonged to a legitimate site that took my earnings after not logging in for awhile. When a legitimate site has a log in period to where they set you as an inactive member, they do not take away your earnings. Instead, you are given so many days to contact the site support to maintain your membership. All is replaced back to you then. I do not like PeopleString anymore, and I did ask them to delete my account last evening. I was still able to log in today. The 'cheerleading' about the site that goes on there is adnauseam. It's like an online cult! The person that did answer my post about the earnings being deleted did not offer any condolences regarding the loss of the money and points earned. Instead, he is trying to make me feel better and get busy earning there. Hmph! Why would I do that? Mylotters, have you ever experienced such a thing online? Or would you delete your account over this, or would you make note to log in once a month from here on to keep your earnings? They also want tax information. Now, if they had already taken my earnings from me, why would I give them my tax information? For a 25.00 payout? HUH? Would you give a company like this your tax id number or social security number?

Well i guess from now on you have to begin to read websites terms and conditions huh? Don't call a site to be a scam just because you did not realize a rule that may be clearly stated before you join. Peace out

myLot does it if you don't sign in for 90 days, and other sites do it too. Yeah it's annoying, but it's their terms.

I know Mylot does. I did forget about People string doing it though. What is really irksome about people string, for a few months I worked the site, signed up for offers that I did not get credit for but forgot what they were so I couldn't write them to get the credit. The offers I did get credit for got wiped clean, and I did a few of them. I didn't get anything from the work I did for a couple of months. The first two months were cool, I got paid for stuff. Then my computer went down, had it reformatted and forgot all about peoplestring. I was not earning there anyway, and did not think I would ever make the payout. It just seemed like a lot of hassle for me. Maybe other folks are doing ok there, but I was not and am still upset the earnings were set to 0. Plus, they never did send any junk mail to my house that I could get paid for. I was waiting for it. lol. I was already unhappy with the site, then yesterday was the icing on the cake for me. I totally forgot about them and the log in rule.
