Gary Kirsten has done wonders for the Indian team. His hand in making our team the no.1 test team is HUUUUGE...!!! To get the team to this level after the turmoil it had been during the reign of Greg Chappell, is not short any great achievement. I think his great ability to work with greater and smaller talents alike to bring out the best in them is simply wonderful... It will be sad to let him go.. But let him go we must...All good things must come to an end.. Lets us hope that he gives ample time to his family and for himself as well. The poor guy hardly had time for his family in the last three years with the Indian team. I am sure that he will do wonderful in whatever job that he under takes. We will surely miss his expertise... Our next coach is former New- Zealand skipper,Stephen Fleming.. I believe that he can fill Gary's shoes pretty well...Let us put our trust in him to take the Indian team to further glory... May be BCCI should start paying much lesser to their coaches. The pay packet is so handsome that most coaches do not feel the need to continue their tenure with team India. Gary took over the team, when there was too much controversy surrounding the role of coach. His calm & cool attitude soon rubbed on to the team. His chemistry with Dhoni was extremely good. I have never heard a single wrong remark/ statement from Gary in all these months. He even managed BCCI to take players early to SA. Should have been a really good peoples person to have convinced those nuts at the board to do things differently. I have great respect for Flemming's tactical ability. He captained an average New-Zealand side to many famous wins. He is sure to have a positive influence on Dhoni.

Yes, Gary, has done a wonderful job.I never thought that he will be such a success.Certainly it will be a set back, but if there is any truth, that Fleming is going to take over, yes it is a good news. Fleming is a very shrewed tactician.Remember how as the captain of New Zeland, he destroyed the Indian team in the one day internationals with a seeming pitch. Recently he was the coach of the Chennai super kings who won all the tournaments.
