i just graduated from college here, in the Philippines and still waiting for the results of our board exam, but when i try to find possible jobs, i can't seem to find any. i took up nursing and it seems that all of the employers want us to have some experience. but aren't all people always started with no experience? so who does one find experience when no one wants to take them? i am so grateful that my parents are supportive of me because most of them require us to volunteer first, some even want us to pay them so that we could volunteer in our facility, but how about those who don't have the time to volunteer? isn't that exploiting? i dont know about this totally and i dont know what to do. pls help.

hi there. well i understand your situation. i got a lot of friends graduated from the same course you took. since they all passed the board examination, their biggest problem was to find a job for themselves. though they always wanted to work as a nurse in hospitals, they could not, because everywhere else around this country is already overstaffed with nurses. most of my friends accepted the fact already, so they tried to find different opportunities other than just staring blankly at the wall and doing nothing. most of them are working at call center companies since they freely accept fresh graduates from any courses, they would only require your communication skills and personal relation skills. i think you can also work as an assistant nurse, or anything related to your field if you still wish to work in a hospital. good luck and see you around.

the usual story that's happening right now, kind of sad really. yet more and more nurses are being produced. i think ill consider other options. maybe you could suggest to your friends to take up masters or something, that's also one way of not wasting time. i glad you're not caught in this problem. thanx a lot. :)

Internet is very useful in your situation. You can looking for employers. Then, you can show your CV with many abilities and confidential to them. I believe that they'll realize you after all your efforts.

You could start in other jobs like medical transcription or any similar health-related jobs to gain experience.
