I mean for instance in a country the amount of money in circulation was 1000, what a country ever to withdraw money in circulation for some reason so that for instance the amount of money in circulation to 900,

1. Printing money, just like BI to issue banknotes 2000s 2. Lower lending rates, so that commercial banks would lend to the community 3. Lowering minimum reserve requirements banks, so that the Bank had more money, which then encourage commercial banks to lend to the public.
