choice is yours! do you think so?

Fortunately or unfortunately I don't have any choice for getting up and chasing the dreams like many others my dear friend! I am working on a Stud Farm in the capacity of a Stud Vet and I need to look after about 350 horses. We breed the horses and raise the young ones till the age of two years before they are sold in the market for racing. During this period we need to take care of these horses along with the parent stock on the farm very meticulously. Horses they suffer from an illness which we commonly call as "Colic", if not attended timely then a horse can die. So we need to be always on our toes all 24 hours by seven days! The incidence of colic can occur at any time, after a full day's hectic schedule when you are just taking some rest and about to dream some thing or dreaming some thing you are waken up by the watchman to attend a case of Colic! Since there is no way left I have to attend the case and rectify the illness before I go to sleep! Similarly in the mornings even though I might have had a tough time during the previous night I had to attend to my daily morning routine failing which can make a hell of difference in my whole working system! So for people like me it is very difficult to sleep and dream as we are practical dream chasers which we have been doing it for few decades now! Can you believe that I don't even can avail my weekly Off for my horses! Many a times I feel frustrated and bored with this type of routine but then possibly the passion and determination makes me going on and on! Unfortunately there is not any retirement in our profession! You would be surprised to that my colleague who is in this profession now more than 47 years is 75 + years! In conclusion, I real feel jealous about the people who really can afford to go back to sleep and dream! I would be happy if I am given a chance to dream at least for a while when I getup early in the morning! But then as I know there i nothing I can do about and now for me the life is like that! Aw...if only life was that simple. Yet for some reason we tend to let things stand in the way of living our life. We spend so much time preparing for live school, higher education, starting a career, striving for financial stability...by the time we are ready to truely life we are about to retire. Does life really have to be this complicated or can we just choose to live in the moment and enjoy every second of it without worrying about bills, and making ends meet.
