Why does TCP error occur after submitting a comment/discussion?

It pisses me off sometimes when I post a long comment, clicks on the submit button, and on the next page, It says, "TCP network error...." on a white page. Do you guys encounter the same problem? I don't have a high speed internet connection. I guess it's one factor to consider why I have this glitch, I'm using a Mozilla Firefox browser - the latest version, and my PC's software is an XP. It's very inconvenient because I can't recover everything that I have typed in after a TCP network error. I understand we can't do copy paste, if only we have a recovery system that saves the previous comment that we've just written earlier, that wouldn't be a problem. Do you guys know why is this happening? Have you encountered the same issue on posting comments here in mylot? What did you do to resolve or at least prevent this from recurring?

Try the Remove QOS Service on the network connection you are using. Also, make sure you are using DHCP settings instead of a static.

Hi sinscythex! Thank you so much for that helpful tip. However, I'm not a computer techy person. Can you please explain to me what QOS Service is? And where can I find this DHCP settings?
