Eddie Izzard - Very Clever Man

Eddie Izzard is one of those comedians you either love or hate. There is no middle ground with him. I happen to like him and my Dad will ALWAYS watch him if he's on telly as it always amazes him how long the guy is on stage for, rambling..and my Dad will say, "How does he remember it all?" Quite! The clip below isn't anything controversial, which is Eddie's trademark, usually. Makes us think a lot about the world and I reckon that's why Dad likes him so much. I'd never heard of Eddie, but I liked this clip. I kind of stopped watching comedians a few years back...the new people just weren't as funny as the old folks...Johnny Carson, Red Skelton... I may have to revisit some of the new comedians...

There's a guy over here (who you may know in the US as he's been there) called Russell Brand. Loads of people think he's hilarious but I just think he's pathetic and soooo unfunny! Check out Michael McIntyre, he's funny..and posh, so you should be able to understand him lol.

Two days ago I was talking to my friend and he asked me if I had ever heard of Eddie Izzard. I dont watch tv so I had no idea who he was. I did a search online and found that he is a comedian. My friend told me that Eddie Izzard is his favorite comedian. He said sometime he would try to get a dvd of his comedy acts and bring it over for us to watch sometime.

He can be a bit "off the wall" sometimes and he will "go off on a tangent" as we say over here. Stick with the DVD though as you may have to watch it a few times to "get it!" Hope you like him, anyway.

He is not my favourite but he can be very clever. I enjoyed the clip. Sounds (and looks) like me with my computer at times! I don't think that you can beat Eric Morecambe or Ronnie Barker.

Did you see that drama about the young Eric and Ernie over Christmas? It was ever so good and yes, I miss them too.
