Hi friends, Tomorrow is Republic day! One of those days we really feel proud about! So Common tell me! How do you feel when you hear the word INDIA and how do you feel about our country! All those years which we had spent as slaves under the outsiders and today we stay ahead of the same! I take this privilege to thank all those freedom fighters, I salute them! Thanks is something far because, Gandhi is our father, Nehru, our chacha, Radhakrishnan, our honorable teacher, Mother teresa, our sweet mother! Well, Do we really have to thank our parents and teachers. Don't you think the relationship is beyond those words! Share what you feel! And if you could, let me know one best patriotic song which really makes you feel proud! Jai Hind!

Hi shri, I am proud to tell you that I have watched the republic parade directly this time too (I watched the same last year). We took much pain to walk for long distance as buses are not allowed to enter the roads. We were one group from an organization and the intention was to show the parade lively to the kids. This time the weather was good so everything was visible. I have to say that this time the parade was more beautiful than last year. The crowd was much large and we felt uneasiness on return journey. But we feel good to have pleasure trip with kids and their parents. Belated Happy Republic day to you.

INDIA is one country with many religions, Relationships. In our school days when we were studying about our Freedom fight we use to feel blessed because of great peoples like Mahathma Gandhi, Nehru, Ambedkar, Shubhash chadrabose. etc..... All are freedom fighters who sacrificed there life to get us freedom, But what we are doing today, killing our nation in the name of Religion. We should spread the message of Love and affection within our nation. Jaihind

Around republic day i feel very proud to be an Indian. But i regret the fact that some indians are very closed minded, our politician system is going so down, the kashmir issue never gets solved, people fighting over religion and no regard for keep the surroundings clean.I went see taj mahal in agra previous year and just from the first gate came back and decided to rather go somewhere else.Actually me and my cousin went to the loo in taj mahal.Oh my god it comes under seven wonders of world but bathroom stinks badly.

Hi friend! I agree with what you said, but I think, we still can feel proud because there are a lot more things which you can be open to seeing which are positive about the country! I'm sure you will also join us with being proud about India, not only around republic day, but always!

Hi Shri I was born in 1952, in independent india, my inlwas were born , when there was british rule, they used to tell, things were much better than, no corruption, no cheating, no adultration in food etc, administration was strict, so there was 'FEAR' But know? You know things better. Many are 'beimaan', and their slogan is 'Mera Bharat desh mahan' At times I feel we should not say this. Thanks for this discussion, cheers kalyani

Hi Kalyni, I agree that everything was kind of better in those days! But, things has changed completely now, and we must note that, its not only in India that the things are changed, its in the other parts of the world too. We can never say that things were good under the british! We had thousand times better ruling Kings in our country in those days! Just the history of the kings tell us everything about the way our country was! Anyways, thanks for sharing! Cheers!

I am a Bhartiya........and I am proud of it. I support all those people who differentiate between India and Bharat. Even our planning commission has differentiated these two words. Indian is just a bunch of people having a handsome amount of money to spend lavishly. But Bharatiya is the real people of India who lives in our 7 lakh villages and making our country stronger day by day....HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY.
