Since there is interest in the competition, I thought it would be good if I start a thread on it as well. The second semi-finals is now playing. Australia is leading Uzbekistan 2-0 and unless they crumble in the second half, they should book their play in the final. In the earlier match, Japan edge Korea out on penalties after the tie 1-1 (normal time) and 2-2 AFT. If everything goes on plan, Japan will take on Australia in the final. My bet is on the Aussie to lift the cup.

australia would be the favorites but japan can't be underestimated. during the world cup the aussies had an inconsistent performance and i wonder what australia will show for this match. japan have the quality to win, i just hope they don't play defensively. if they do i don't think they will win.

I have to say that the only game I have followed was the game between South Korea and Japan, and I haven't managed to watch the whole game. But I have to say that it was a thrilling encounter, with lot of drama in it. As for Australia, they have won with 6-0, and I think they will win the competition, although Japan has never lost a final till now.
