Kids saving for a Smoky Mountains Vacation

My family and I are wanting to take a trip to Gatlinburg, but I have told my girls that I did not think that we would have enough money to go this year due to a lot of extra expenses. I have been plenty enough times ( before I had them ) to know that you have to have plenty of money, because there is so much to do there, not to mention the shopping. So, I had bought a digital coin bank at a after Christmas sale, just for fun of it. My girls has shocked me with collecting change to put in it. Within 2 weeks they have collected $29.53. I am so proud of them, but I do not have the heart to tell them that there is no way they are going to get enough money to go. I think my youngest one knows because she has said maybe by next summer we would have the money. I will reward them somehow, but I think it is sad that I cannot give them the vacation that want, especially when they are trying to save the money themselves.
