Do The pictures you upload to mylot have to be your own?

I mean the images that you upload to myLot, can they be from the internet or mylot pays only for photos that you have taken yourslef?

Hello wwpauljd and welcome to myLot! If you read the photo guidelines carefully, you will find that they say "Make sure you have permission to upload any photos you are using on myLot." http://www.mylot.com/o/photoguidelines.aspx They also say "don't post copyrighted photos. You are putting yourself at risk for legal action if you post photos that you do not have the rights to." Make sure you read all the photo guidelines, there are more useful things you will find there.

I am sorry, I don't know the answer. I usually upload photos of my own, and I still have a few hundreds to upload. I think it is risky, as there is the chance for one user to know the photo is from the Internet and they may report you. MyLot can delete your account for violating the guidelines. I wouldn't do that. I prefer to be safe than sorry.
